Now that her mom duties are over, this tiny girl is discovering how fun, playful, and cozy life can be. Ruby is gentle, affectionate, and deeply loving once she feels secure. She adores cuddling, happily curls up in laps, loves her donut bed, and makes a beeline under the covers at bedtime for snuggles by your leg. As her confidence grows, she shows off her playful side with joyful zoomies and silly ball games — watching her play is pure happiness. She walks well on a leash, enjoys car rides, and is nearly house-trained, using both outdoor potty breaks and pee pads with ease. Ruby is also great with cats and enjoys trying to play with her feline foster siblings. Ruby thrives with companionship and would do best in a home with a confident small dog to help guide her and ease her anxiety when left alone. A calm, patient person or couple — especially someone who works from home or is retired — would be ideal to help her continue building confidence at her own pace. DOB 4-24-2025 Izzie is looking for a Mom! She is a baby that likes to stay close, a 24 hour girl. Izzie is social, loves to play, gets along great with others and wants to be an important part of her future home. She will be between 7 and 8 pounds, has a natural tail and gorgeous ears with a cute little face. She is very smart and focused. She is up to date on all medical, spayed, heartworm negative and has received a ProHeart6 heartworm preventative infection. Her adoption fee is 900.00 and her transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS LLC they leave every other Friday to deliver their stops on Saturday to the East Coast The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Meet Shania, our beautiful little comeback girl — and just like her country music namesake, she’s ready for a brand-new chapter filled with love, understanding, and the right environment to truly shine. Shania is a sweet JRT/Westie mix girl who is happy, lively and just 1-year, weighing just 12 pounds. Her look is a charming wiry coat paired with an absolutely darling personality. She enjoys leash walks, watching the world go by, and will happily investigate any squirrel bold enough to cross her path. She’s wonderful with other dogs, cats, and is friendly with men she meets out in public. Inside the home, however, Shania needs a very specific setup to feel safe and secure. Due to something in her past, she becomes protective if a man lives in the home and believes she must guard the woman she loves. Because of this, Shania needs a female-only household with no men living in the home. In the right environment, she relaxes, settles beautifully, and shows just how loving and joyful she truly is. She is currently working on potty training and does well using potty pads, and with continued consistency, she will keep improving. Shania is small, affectionate, and full of potential — she simply needs the right person who understands her and is willing to give her the peaceful, predictable home she deserves. A sweet and snuggly eleven-and-a-half-year-old Yorkshire Terrier/Dachshund mix currently in Wayne, PA, whose gentle soul is tucked into a light brown, low-riding little frame just 11 pounds strong. Ollie may have a few years under his belt, but don’t let that fool you, this guy is all heart and has a surprising pep in his step when it’s time for his favorite part of the day: a nice long walk! He’s got a calm, low-energy nature most of the time, but those daily strolls? Pure magic for him! He lives for sniffing adventures, leisurely paces, and the great outdoors, just add one committed walking buddy and he’ll be in heaven. An expert-level snuggler and devoted companion, Ollie shines as a constant, cozy presence around the house. He’s incredibly gentle with toddlers, although he sometimes mistakes them for playful pups like himself, so older or dog-savvy children would be a great fit. His protective streak adds charm, he’s not aggressive, but expect a hearty bark when strangers or delivery folks appear. Think of it as his way of announcing, “I’ve got your back!” Ollie is crate-trained, house-trained, and understands commands like “stay” and “down.” He’s not prone to anxiety when left alone for short stretches, and his friendly, easy-going attitude with other dogs makes him a good candidate for a multi-pup household.
