I'm Strela I’ve been told I’m “confident.” I prefer royalty. I follow you everywhere because obviously you need supervision. I lean into you because affection is mandatory. I make a little snuffle grunt when I want attention. That means stop what you’re doing. Immediately. I love people. All of them. I assume they love me back. They usually do. On walks, I sniff with purpose. If I decide we’re done, we’re done. If there’s a yard, I’ll patrol it. It’s called security. With other dogs? I’m playful, but I don’t really back down. I’m not mean. I just don’t do submissive. I’d be perfectly happy as your one and only, or with a dog who understands that I have standards. I sleep well. I crate fine. I cuddle like it’s my job. I inhale my food but I’m learning I don’t have to fight for it anymore. Character development. I want people around. I want belly rubs. I want sniff walks. I am Always happy! Two women claimed to be “rescuers” while dogs and cats were kept crated in a yard and shed, forced to live in their own waste, starved, and left to die. A neighbor finally called the police. That call saved lives. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)
