Story
DOB 4-24-2025 Izzie is looking for a Mom! She is a baby that likes to stay close, a 24 hour girl. Izzie is social, loves to play, gets along great with others and wants to be an important part of her future home. She will be between 7 and 8 pounds, has a natural tail and gorgeous ears with a cute little face. She is very smart and focused. She is up to date on all medical, spayed, heartworm negative and has received a ProHeart6 heartworm preventative infection. Her adoption fee is 900.00 and her transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS LLC they leave every other Friday to deliver their stops on Saturday to the East Coast The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Meet Ollie! A sweet and snuggly eleven-and-a-half-year-old Yorkshire Terrier/Dachshund mix currently in Wayne, PA, whose gentle soul is tucked into a light brown, low-riding little frame just 11 pounds strong. Ollie may have a few years under his belt, but don’t let that fool you, this guy is all heart and has a surprising pep in his step when it’s time for his favorite part of the day: a nice long walk! He’s got a calm, low-energy nature most of the time, but those daily strolls? Pure magic for him! He lives for sniffing adventures, leisurely paces, and the great outdoors, just add one committed walking buddy and he’ll be in heaven. An expert-level snuggler and devoted companion, Ollie shines as a constant, cozy presence around the house. He’s incredibly gentle with toddlers, although he sometimes mistakes them for playful pups like himself, so older or dog-savvy children would be a great fit. His protective streak adds charm, he’s not aggressive, but expect a hearty bark when strangers or delivery folks appear. Think of it as his way of announcing, “I’ve got your back!” Ollie is crate-trained, house-trained, and understands commands like “stay” and “down.” He’s not prone to anxiety when left alone for short stretches, and his friendly, easy-going attitude with other dogs makes him a good candidate for a multi-pup household. Cats, however, are not on his list of companions, he much prefers a feline-free home. Health-wise, Ollie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and in overall good shape for a senior gent! He does take medication to manage urinary incontinence, and his future family should be ready to provide the little bit of extra care he needs to stay comfortable and happy. If you’re looking for a small, loving sidekick who enjoys snuggles as much as strolls, Ollie might just be the furry friend to complete your family! Could you be the one to show this loyal little guy the joys of his next chapter? To learn more about Ollie or to make him part of your story, reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com! Story
Introducing Zach! 💛 Zach is a 9-year-old Yorkie with the sweetest little soul and a face that could melt anyone on sight. This handsome guy lives for snuggles — if you pick him up, he’ll happily stay in your arms as long as you’ll let him. He currently weighs around 10lbs and would benefit from losing 3–4lbs to get to his healthiest self. He’s a little chunky, but that just adds to his teddy-bear charm right now. 🧸 Zach is funny, playful, and has the cutest personality — he’ll even give a tiny bark to politely let you know he’d like to be held. He’s friendly with kids, cats, and other dogs, making him a great fit for just about any loving home. He is potty-pad trained, knows to go outside, neutered, UTD on vaccinations, and ready for his forever family. If you’re looking for a gentle senior sweetheart who wants nothing more than to be your little shadow, Zach is your boy. 🐾💙 RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to: saveapreciouspaw@gmail.com

Story
This is Solé (pronounced Sol-lay), she is a 1 year old Yorkie. She is VERY energetic & very playful. She’s good around other pets. I don’t have children of my own, but when I brought her around children, she was great with them! I got her from my father who has 2 dogs who mated & was giving away the litter she was in. She is fully vaccinated & she is microchipped. She’s just not spayed yet. She’s a wonderful dog, but unfortunately due do my work schedule, I don’t have a yard, & I live alone, I’m unable to give a proper home for her. She needs a home where she can run around all day to get the energy out. I won’t be able to keep her long, so hopefully I can find someone who’d love her, have the time for her, & to let her run free.

Story
Video 1: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/_I98d4DP6jw Video 2: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/R4ikj0Xsa10 Rudolph is about a year old and weighs 16 lbs. He was found dumped in a field where he would have certainly died if he wasn't rescued. He is the sweetest little boy who loves cuddles and kisses and follows me like a champ. He was a litte intimidated by all the big dogs at the rescue at first but once he realized that everyone is a friend he joined the gang and now runs and plays with everyone in the yard freely. He is also great with cats, including kittens. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tacoma, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) - New Jersey (Bedminster) - Nevada (Las Vegas) - Arizona (Flagstaff) - Vermont (Brattleboro) Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, heartworm tested (negative).
