Story
Meet Bonnie & Clyde! This pair of pint sized best friends are looking for a new home together. They have never lived with other animals, so we are unsure how they would feel about other fur siblings. They are sweet dogs who also have some `typical` chihuahua habits like being wary of strangers at first meeting, and not liking loud noises or grabby hands. We think they`d be happiest in a home with adults only or older children. These two have some minor medical issues, please call the shelter for more information. They are playful active pups who are still in the prime of their life - do you have room in your home and heart for Bonnie & Clyde? Come by the shelter today!

Story
Meet Jack! Jack is approximately 1 year old, 21 lbs currently and he likely has some Yorkie in his mix! Jack was positive for Heartworm disease when he came into our care, but has since been treated and is now ready for adoption! In his foster home, he is working hard on his house-training, crate training, and leash walking. He could go to a home with kids 5+ and other small dogs. He has not been exposed to cats. No apartments please due to barking! His foster says, `Jack has been such an easy boy to foster. He`s wonderful in a crate, but since he is non-destructive, he wouldn`t even have to be crated. For the most part, he is a fairly calm dog, he walks well on a leash and is pretty much house-trained with only a few accidents. I`ve been calling him `Hungry Jack` since he really loves mealtime. He`s been learning to `sit` for treats. Jack is a very sweet boy and is near perfect.`He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on April 25th. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
