Story
DOB 2-11-2019 Pepper is a retired working girl looking for her first very own home. She is sweet, likes to play, gets along with everyone and deserves her own life now. Pepper has been spayed, she is heartworm negative and received a proheart 6 heartworm preventative injection. The adoption fee for Pepper is 750.00 and her transport fee is 165.00 The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Poor Lovie lost her owner recently and his family did not want the responsibility of pet ownership. She is a very sweet girl. Weighs 20 pounds and is fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, heart worm negative, and up to date on vaccines.  She is liked to snuggle in bed. You can tell she was a true house dog through and through. Will make an amazing pet for an older person. Her fur is more like hair and she isn't a big shedder.   Her adoption fee is $350 and this covers the cost of transport as well. Currently, she is being fostered in Arkansas, but we do have a transport available to New England. ##2333621##

Story
Motley is an adorable, nearly 6-month-old purebred Yorkie bursting with energy and love. This little guy is full of life and adores anyone and anything with a pulse—people, pets, you name it!Motley was given as a surprise gift to a senior owner who, unfortunately, found that caring for a high-energy puppy was more than he could manage. Now, we’re helping this sweet pup find the forever home he truly deserves. He’s house-trained, healthy, and ready to fill your life with joy, cuddles, and tail wags for years and years. If you’re looking for a loyal, lively companion who will keep you on your toes and shower you with affection, Motley might just be your perfect match. He's super active and absolutely loves playing with other dogs.Don't hesitate because this dog will have 20 adoption applications by the time you finish reading the bio!Name: MotleyBreed: Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie (not a mix, from a breeder)Sex: MaleAge: 6 months as of 5/1Weight: 7 lbs as of 5/1Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Vaccines are up to date.Heartworm: Too young (testing is done at 6 months of age)Housetrained:  YesMicrochipped: YesLocation of dog currently:   Boston MA     Puppy Adoption Fee:  $600.00 The adoption fee also includes the transport fee when applicable.ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact.  PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life.
