Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Mr. Bootsy is a great little companion dog that was found wondering the streets of San Antonio, Tx and he had been hit by a car, he was limping along.  After taking him to the vet, it was discovered that the car injury was an old break and could not be repaired.  I made the choice not to amputate the dangling leg because it does not get in his way or cause any problems or require any special care on a daily basis. Booty was microchipped and I spoke with the original owner who gave him to someone else who just did not want any dogs and set him free on the streets, pitiful but San Antonio resident pet owners are known for that.  Bootsy would love to have a forever loving home where he can get love and he has plenty of love to give back. He gets along with all of the foster dogs in my home and plays well with everyone.  He is completely potty/house and crate trained.  Bootsy is just a good boy.  He is 6 years old and weighs 10 pounds and has reached his adult weight and will not grow anymore.  He walks well on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick. If you are in San Antonio, TX or surrounding areas you are welcome to meet him anytime.  We market our pets across the United States and transport them to most areas every 2 weeks once adopted. If you are interested in adopting Bootsy please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Anyone interested in a yorkie/schnauzer mix. A year old this past March. With his rabies shot. And current vaccines. Been to the vet his whole first 6 months of life. Healthy. No medical concerns. Treated prophylacticly for fleas every month, last treatment April 25th. Recently groomed today. Dematted with short nails, teeth brushed. You can have his crate food and water bowl bed and favorite toy. The dog food I buy at walmart is 8$. You will need puppy pads (if i have any extra ill be sure to give them). Max is not fully house broken however, has potential to learn. Honestly, I have had more work and less time to be a dog mom Hoping to re-home him with a person who has good intentions and patience.
