Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ ** Percy is a handsome 10-month-old Yorkshire Terrier and Maltese blend who weighs approximately 6 pounds.. He has a sweet temperament and is active and playful. He will make a loyal companion. Percy is partially housebroken and knows how to use puppy pads. Household members will also need to exercise caution when opening and closing doors to ensure that he doesn’t slip outside or that a door inadvertently closes on him. Because of his small size, this pet will not be placed in a home with children. He must never be left unattended while outside. Large raptors, such as hawks and owls, can attack and kill small pets. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. His adoption fee is $400. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Vanguard® Plus 5 D-A2-PP vaccination, Vanguard® B Oral bordetella vaccination, Drontal® Plus, WITNESS® Heartworm Antigen, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
