Micah is a yorkie/min pin/chi around 3 .5 yr old and about 10 lbs.  He came from same home as Peter aka Pedro is a  2.5 yr old male Terrier (maybe some rat terrier....who knows) about 12 lb but it is hard to adopt out bonded pairs.  So, Micah needs to be placed probably in an active retired couple home with Yorkie experience and with another small dog .  He is semi energetic that likes the company of another small dog and loves his dog beds.    He is in a foster home with lots of  Chi foster brothers/sisters. He love dog beds, doggie blankets, dog harnesses and toys.  He acts grouchy, but it is all for show.  Once you pick him up and carry him around he is okay.. Are great companion for active retirees with a securely fenced yard that like small dogs..    He  should be okay with small dog polite children (over 12 yrs of age) but better with no children.  Small dog experience is recommended. He is an indoor dog.   L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. Chloe and Callie are two 9-month-old best friends who do everything together and truly thrive as a pair. These little girls are full of personality, confidence, and affection, and they’re hoping to find a family that will welcome them as a package deal. Callie is a long-coat Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix and is deaf, which hasn’t slowed her down one bit. She’s incredibly outgoing, playful, and affectionate, and relies on visual cues and her bond with Chloe to navigate the world. Chloe, a purebred Yorkshire Terrier, brings classic Yorkie energy and sass. She’s social, bouncy, and loves being right in the middle of everything. Together, they are talkative, joyful, and endlessly entertaining. These girls adore people and are happiest when they’re close, whether that’s sitting on a lap, popping up for kisses, or bouncing around hoping to be included in whatever you’re doing. They are friendly with strangers, tolerant of handling, and seem to love everyone they meet. Their high energy and excitement mean they’d do best with teens and adults who can keep up with them and appreciate their lively nature. Chloe and Callie are still puppies at heart and will need continued training, including potty training and leash skills. Because Callie is deaf and Chloe is a flight risk, a home with secure entry is required. They are also quite vocal and excitable, so shared walls may not be the best fit. A fenced yard is not required, but safe management and supervision are important. Their future family should have deaf dog experience for Callie and breed experience for Chloe, as well as the time and patience to continue guiding them as they grow. In return, they’ll offer nonstop companionship, laughter, and love. If you’re looking for a bonded pair who will keep life fun, fill your home with personality, and remind you daily why having two dogs is better than one, Chloe and Callie may be your perfect match. Chloe & Callie are spayed, healthy, and adopted together.

Chewbacca is the sweetest little nugget you'll ever meet who is always at your side snuggled up. He's a terrier though, so he can be feisty walking by other dogs on a leash but he's all bark and no bite. He adores his people and would do best in a home with children, another playful small dog and a family who is home often. He does mark inside on occasion but is housetrained most of the time. Meet Bindi! Tiny Bindi is a purebred Parti Yorkie. The name sounds fun but really just refers to her unique Yorkie coloring.  Bindi is around 4 years old and weighs just 7 lbs. She is good with other dogs and friendly with people. She does need a moment to warm up to strangers but once she trusts you she will be your best friend. She has not lived with young children and we suspect she will be a bit too overwhelmed by them. We recommend her for a home without children or with children over 12 only. She does not have any cat experience.  Bindi loves exploring the yard, chasing squirrels and zooming around. Inside she is calm and will happily take naps with you. She is not a couch potato though. Bindi is a flight risk and will take the opportunity to run out of the front door if you are not careful. She needs a secure yard. She is working on potty training so quick access to the outside is helpful. Bindi is a lovely little girl who would love a family of her own.  She is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $450.   We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Meet handsome Monty! Monty came into the rescue just in time! Due to his skin allergies and infection, his family thought the only solution was to put him down. Enter our caring team and fabulous Veterinary team, Monty now has an excellent prognosis with proper care. Monty needs about 2 more weeks of the medicated baths and medications to cure the skin infection - the result of a flea allergy! Completely manageable for long term care with quality flea meds. Monty, a 6 years young, neutered Yorkie, is fantastic on a leash, has great house manners, and will make someone the best buddy. He is vocal and sings, makes little joyful noises when happy and lets you know when he'd prefer a different option in his day ;-) ! Monty is the best boy now and will be even better once his skin heals. Monty can go home now with someone who will appreciate and manage his skin regimen, or should be cleared by our vet by New Years and ready for his forever home.
