Story
He is looking for his family! Will you be mine? Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com Excited for forever home! Micah is a yorkie/min pin/chi around 3 .5 yr old and about 10 lbs.  He came from same home as Peter aka Pedro is a  2.5 yr old male Terrier (maybe some rat terrier....who knows) about 12 lb but it is hard to adopt out bonded pairs.  So, Micah needs to be placed probably in an active retired couple home with Yorkie experience and with another small dog .  He is semi energetic that likes the company of another small dog and loves his dog beds.    He is in a foster home with lots of  Chi foster brothers/sisters. He love dog beds, doggie blankets, dog harnesses and toys.  He acts grouchy, but it is all for show.  Once you pick him up and carry him around he is okay.. Are great companion for active retirees with a securely fenced yard that like small dogs..    He  should be okay with small dog polite children (over 12 yrs of age) but better with no children.  Small dog experience is recommended. He is an indoor dog.   L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with  rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees. December 7, 2023, 8:20 pm

The evil for these amazing souls is never ending. The absolutely stunning, mind body & soul of James Bond was being used as a breeding machine in a puppy mill in Missouri to make money off his back. We were able to bid on him & in fact bought him to stop having a life of misery over & over again for evil human beings to make money off him. Living his life outside in the stinking heat day after day then in the freezing cold in winter time in a metal tin can of a shed was over. His life was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better. On this day we rescued a total of 21 breeding mum & dads & puppies who all they knew was to breed in a life of hell & then being sold. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show James Bond how he is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home. James Bond was bought back to the WA state where he is now is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. Look at this boy, it’s so bloody sad what he had to go through. This little man is loving & sweet & just wants to be with you. He gets so excited when he sees one of our ladies as he loves her. The horror he endured on his little body & mind all to make money off his back is so disgusting. After everything he has been through he is still a lovely soul. He is beyond grateful to get out of that hell hole he was in & radiates gratitude. James Bond lets you pick him up & lets you give him kisses & hugs. He adores receiving love. The reality is, the foster homes are his real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding he can snuggle up in, a roof over his head that’s not outside. Watching him go into his very first real home, foster home was such a joy to see. Make room in your bed for James Bond as he will want to sleep with you. He adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something he did not get to experience ever until he was rescued. This boy is the biggest joy of a soul you will ever meet. He is so grateful for his new life. James Bond was never taught to walk on a harness a leash until we taught him to walk on a slip lead & now he is a wonderful walker & loves to go on his walks. He does not discriminate against breeds. He adores running & playing & chasing his dog friends in the backyard & inside. He has always been with other dogs & he adores other dogs so in his forever home another dog or dogs is mandatory in his forever home for him to have his best life. James Bond rides beautifully in the car & considering the only times we know of was when he went to auction to be sold & when we got him & going with us to places & home with him foster family & back & forth to the vets & he has done so amazing in the car. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lad only. He spent his whole life confined for breeding. James Bond as you can imagine spent such a long time in a caged environment. We are also looking for a forever home for James Bond where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. When they find someone who treats them as they should be treated & loves them they get so attached to them. James Bond is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him & never give up on him. James Bond has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & in his foster home & he is currently with other dogs & adores other dogs. We also tested him in a daycare & he was the perfect gentleman. James Bond needs to go to a forever home with another dog or dogs in the home, he enjoys the company of other dogs & we currently have him with other dogs in his loving foster home. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take him to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard. James Bond is roughly 10.8 lbs & he is 2 years old. He has put on weight since being in the rescue. He is a Yorkshire terrier, what he is mixed with we don’t know? He had a dental, dental x-rays & a scale & polish. He was also treated for an ear infection & had a long lasting ear meds Claro applied in his ears for treatment. James Bond is up to date on his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on James Bond with paying for him from a puppy mill auction in Missouri. Bringing him to WA with his travel costs, his transportation to WA. All of his medical care in WA etc & bringing him to WA then his adoption fee comes close to covering. His adoption fee does not even cover half of what we have spent on James Bond. James Bond has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had him around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when James Bond was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & James Bond’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is James Bond potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting James Bond & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on. Or you waste this rescues time, will remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx or Zoom due to covid & followed by a meet & greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for James Bond who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this special sweet little lad. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. James Bond has an adoption fee of $1585 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.

Story
Lily is a lovely dog, turning 9 in January 2024. She is loving, good with other dogs, cats and kids. Lily is a submissive dog. We are a family of five, with three dogs and are finding we don't have nearly the amount of time to spend with the dogs as we'd like. Lily loves to play, cuddle and receive pets. She knows how to sit, stay, lay and SNEEZE! She does require regular grooming, including daily brushing if you let her hair grow long or routine haircuts to keep her hair short. I currently groom her myself and she's a pro at it. No complaints while grooming or trimming nails. She just had her yearly exam, is up to date on shots and doesn't have any notable health issues.
