Happy, loyal and active BONDED PAIR of Maltipoos looking for a Maltipoo experienced family.   Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or  https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Dog Laverne and Shirley are 18 mos to 2 yrs old 11 to 15 lb Maltipoos. Someone dumped this bonded pair of gals severely matted and full of fleas.  They are very happy now that they have been groomed.  They are in a foster home with another foo foo dog.  They are kinda shy and timid at first but bond to people.  They are crate trained and leash trained.  They use a doggie door to go into back yard that is securely fenced.  They love hanging out with people and on the furniture. This bonded pair will require a securely fenced yard and frequent grooming.    San Antonio area has over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.July 27, 2026, 2:44 pm

Story
🏠 Currently in a Toronto foster home Hi, I'm Don-i. 🤍 I may only weigh 3.5 kg, but my heart is full of love just waiting for my forever family. When you hold me, you'll notice how tiny I am. I fit perfectly in your arms, and honestly… that's one of my favorite places to be. I love being close to my people, and every gentle touch makes me feel safe. Before I was rescued, I lived in a breeding facility. I never had the chance to experience what it means to be a cherished family member. Everything is still new to me, but one thing comes naturally—I love people. When you give me attention, I'll shyly wag my tail and quietly ask for more cuddles. I'm a gentle, calm little boy who gets along well with other dogs. If you already have a furry friend, I'd be happy to be their companion. But I'd also love being your one and only, soaking up all the love you've been saving for me. I'm still learning about life in a home, so I'll need some patience with potty training and leash walking. Since I've never had the chance to learn these things before, I hope you'll teach me one step at a time. I promise I'll do my best because I trust people and truly want to make you proud. I've spent my whole life being small and vulnerable, but I dream of a future where I never have to worry again—a home where I'm loved, protected, and treated like family. If you're looking for a loyal little shadow with a gentle heart, I think we've been waiting for each other. Will you be my forever family? 🤍

Meet Panda! Little Panda is around 4 years old and came to us with his friend Alexander. They did not come from a loving home but they are adjusting well in their foster homes.  Panda is a friendly boy. He loves people, loves attention and is very affectionate. He gets along well with other dogs but has not met a cat. We think he will be fine with kids too (over 8 is great). Panda is an energetic boy who loves his walks. He is not a couch potato though he can relax alongside you just fine. He does not like to be alone - which is not uncommon for rescue dogs. They are a bit unsettled and that can cause some attachment to humans he likes. He can learn to spend time alone here and there. He can bark at times and for this reason is not suitable for apartment living. He is working on potty training - he did not learn this in his previous home - and his foster mom is working hard to help him understand. He is catching on an doing well.  Panda is scheduled to be vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Meet Dobs! Our little friend Dobs was rescued from an overcrowded shelter where he was listed to be euthanized for space. We're so glad to have him with us and doing well in his foster home. Dobs is a friendly, happy, easy going guy. His favorite thing is to be with a person. He loves cuddling and getting pets. He enjoys short, leisurely walks. He sleeps quietly in his crate at night but would much prefer to sleep in bed with his person. He’s a good eater and loves treats. While he generally gets along with other dogs he seems to prefer the company of people and can get snarky if he thinks another dog might get his food. He is very affectionate, is fine being left home alone and super happy to greet his people when they come home, gives kisses and can be a little mouthy when he’s seeking attention. He is house trained, takes care of business when he’s taken outside. He is generally very quiet but will give an alert bark when someone is at the door. He’s an overall sweet, loving dog that just wants to find his forever home. Dobs is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $395 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
