He may greet you with a silent hiss at first, but it’s all for show and really quite cute. Just sit with him, give him some sweet talk and a bowl of food with some treats, and he'll soon come around. With a little patience and some tasty incentives, he’ll warm up and demand your attention with an irresistible stare from his gorgeous green eyes. Mr. Clarence is best as the only pet—he can become stressed around other cats, which can lead to unwanted accidents. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. DAMEON and his 4 siblings (BAELON - VISERYS - AEMOND - AEGON) were turned in to the shelter as strays. But by their mannerisms and as healthy as they were, we believe they were kittens born to a domestic mama cat. These guys are the absolute sweetest kittens ever! The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. One was 8 weeks old. KOALA was saved by an independent rescuer back in late 2021. She was young. Well fast forward to 1 year ago, the lady was killed by a drunk driver. We were asked to help with her rescues and to our dismay, her house was a horrific hoarding case. We pulled 55 cats that were still alive. Our rescue took 26 of those cats into out rescue. KOALA is the eight one to be ready for adoption. And still with us after a year. KOALA can be shy at first. She gets comfortable very quick and is curious about everything. She can get startled, but will come back and investigate. She gets very excited about her can food. He is a very good assistant and loves to help you do your chores (well she will chase the broom and mop). Meet KOALA, a young feline filled with a vibrant spirit and an independent streak. Pollo is a sweet and gentle cat but he is incredibly anxious, I had taken up the task of giving him a new home so my cat could have some company and they got along great! However… unfortunately pollo seems to be very skidish of people, I live with 3 other people and we all realize he’d probably do best in a single person home or with 2 individuals with a lot of time to spend with this young boy. He does great with other cats! Just takes him some time to settle in. as long as a good home takes him in, that’s all I care about :), he will come with food bowl, water bowl, and a litter box as well as some food. (He is VERY food motivated)
