Story
Lola is a beautiful, 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a big heart and classic guardian-dog instincts. When she’s calm and settled at home, Lola is truly wonderful: affectionate, sweet, and deeply devoted to her people. She loves being part of family life, enjoys gentle handling for petting and grooming, and is fully house-trained. Indoors, she’s loyal, gentle, and content to be near her humans. Lola is also very much a working-breed dog at heart. She is a natural guard dog and takes her role seriously. While she has made progress learning the everyday sounds of a home, she still barks frequently when something catches her attention. When she becomes overstimulated, the barking can be intense and difficult to interrupt—especially if she hasn’t had enough physical and mental exercise. Enrichment activities like frozen Kongs have been helpful in keeping her busy and engaged. Where Lola struggles most is on leash. Outside the home, she becomes anxious and reactive to other dogs, sudden noises, and fast-moving people or vehicles like scooters and bikes. When triggered, she can fixate and pull very hard. Because Lola is large and strong, this makes leash walking challenging. Lola is not a city dog and would thrive in a very specific environment: Lola’s ideal home 🏡 - A large, securely fenced property where she can safely run and burn energy off-leash - A rural or quiet setting with minimal outside stimulation - An experienced dog owner, ideally familiar with guardian breeds - Someone who understands and can tolerate barking - A physically strong handler willing to pursue professional training if leash walking is a goal Lola is not a beginner dog, and she is not a low-maintenance or hypoallergenic poodle mix. She is a smart, resilient, working-breed dog who needs the right setting to truly shine. Despite these challenges, Lola is an incredibly loving and gentle soul when her environment meets her needs. She bonds deeply, offers endless affection, and wants nothing more than to feel safe and understood. With the right home, she has the potential to be an amazing companion. Lola deserves a forever home that truly understands who she is—a devoted guardian with a soft heart—and gives her the space, structure, and experience she needs to thrive. 💛

Buffy is the beautiful daughter of the equally gorgeous mama Nova, and she carries all the best traits of her Great Pyrenees roots. At just 2 years old, Buffy is mellow, affectionate, and has that calm, grounding presence the breed is so loved for. She’s a little shyer than her mama at first, but true to her gentle nature, Buffy warms up quickly and becomes a total love. She adores pets, leans in for affection, and is happiest when she’s near her people. With her naturally patient and nurturing temperament, she does wonderfully with kids and takes everything in stride. Buffy is fantastic on leash, making walks peaceful and enjoyable, and she loves car rides—always ready to be your laid-back adventure buddy. Like many Great Pyrenees, she has a thoughtful, observant side paired with a sweet devotion to her family. ✨ Buffy is spayed and up to date on all vaccines, and she’s ready to find a calm, loving home where she can continue to blossom.
