Hi, my name is Kodiak and I'm from Northern Minnesota. From the Vet: Kodiak has been in rescue for a few months after coming in with his mom and brothers an sisters. All of his family have found their forever homes, and its finally his turn. He stayed with us a bit longer due to 2 medical issues that needed specialty care/consultation. He has had an eye procedure performed to fix his 'entropion' or inward rolling of the eye lids that can lead to trauma to the eyeball. This procedure worked great for him and he is doing exceptionally well. The second specialist he needed to see was a veterinary dentist for his class 1 malocclusion with a base narrow right mandibular canine tooth. As a result, the mandibular canine teeth are abnormally contacting the soft tissues of the upper palate causing pain, inflammation and ulceration. The decision was made to extract his puppy teeth early and monitor for his adult canines. If he is still in rescue around late March, TBB will recheck to monitor for adult dentition to determine what, if any action needs to be taken at that time. An adopter may expect to have to pursue care such as minimally invasive interventions such as 'ball therapy' or extraction or advanced dentistry of his adult canines may be recommended or pursued at an adopters expense. The hope is that with time, growth and additional therapies, he could avoid that, but time will tell. Mostly we know that he is a wonderful loving puppy and he is ready to find his people!

Keyoko is a very sweet girl looking for her furever home. Her owner passed away and she is just lost without her owner. She loves to be around people. She was housebroken but needs a refresher course. Keyoko is 8 years old female and is very loving. If you would like to add the darling Miss Keyoko to your home, please respond by using the big black button marked " Ask About Me" and we will send you an application. These dogs are being fostered in TN but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! NOT!! I am a snuggle bug looking for tummy scratches....I willl MELT for one!! Here is what one of our amazing fosters have to say about Dakota...."Super freaking sweet, loves loves belly rubs, is very strong when you walk him but listens well. VERY treat motivated and knows sit down paw and i just taught him roll over yesterday but its a work in progress 😝. Super playful, he will pounce around you and then roll over for belly rubs and absolutely melts for the belly rubs and kisses" I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Now, before you go all "Lion King" on me, just know that I will be your bestest buddy forever!! I am two VERY loyal breeds and once I know you are my family, you will have my unending love :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
