Story
Meet your new adventure buddy! Hi there! I'm Archie, a fun-loving and energetic pup who can’t wait to be your new best friend. I have a few favorite things: chew toys, belly rubs, snuggling, and going for walks. In fact, if we could spend our days walking and snuggling, I'd be the happiest dog around! I absolutely love going on adventures, especially if it means I get to be with you. Crowds and new people are my jam—I’m always on my best behavior and ready to make new friends. I’m fearless and curious about everything around me, which makes every outing exciting. My foster mom says I could use a tiny bit of caution, but I’m not sure what that means. I just want to check out everything! Oh, and I adore squirrels. I’m convinced they squeak like my toys! My foster mom thinks my enthusiasm for squirrels might extend to cats, so she keeps me away from them for now. At bedtime, I prefer snuggling on the bed, although I usually end up in my kennel. I don’t mind it, but I always try my luck for a cozy spot next to my foster mom first. One day, those sweet, hopeful eyes of mine might just win her over! When I’m not on an epic adventure, I enjoy playing with the other dogs here. If they’re too tired to play, I’m perfectly content chewing on a bone by my foster mom’s side. I know exactly where to sit to get treats and will lay quietly for hours once I find my spot. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle, and adventurous companion, I’m your guy. Let’s make every day an adventure together! Quick Facts: Personality: Sweet, gentle, fearless, and adventurous Favorite Activities: Walks, snuggling, playing with toys, and exploring Special Skills: Making friends, being on best behavior in crowds, and finding treats Ideal Home: An active household ready for lots of adventures and snuggles Ready to meet your new best friend? I can’t wait to meet you! ##1968786##

Age: Approximately 2-3 years old Weight: 55lbs Dog friendly: Yes but best with medium/large dogs Cat friendly: Unknown Kid friendly: Yes - older teens only Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes   *FENCE REQUIRED* Wachiwi is a teen family friendly dog.  She is currently in a home with one other 7 year old lab dog.  She plays well with this dog -having the run of a fenced yard.  Wachiwi likes to snuggle, get tummy rubs, and hang with us on the couch while we chill at home.  Wachiwi is working on basic training – she comes into the house when called.  Sits (most of the time) on command. Wachiwi has a lot of energy that she is able to run off with the other dog in our household.  It would be great if she could go to a home where someone can play with her or walk her often. She can by mouthy and as such she should not be around young kids. Apply on our website ( https://www.healingheartsrescue.org/adopt )  to  set up a private meeting or check below for my adoption event schedule. Age: 10 years old Weight: 82 lbs Dog friendly: yes, companion dog required Cat friendly: yes Kid friendly: yes Potty trained: yes Crate trained: no, will use an x-pen *Companion dog required* Hi! My name is Kodiak. My current foster dad likes to call me Kodi. Not to toot my own horn, but I am a beautiful Husky and Malamute mix. I spent nine long years with my previous family, but unfortunately they could no longer care for me. I would definitely consider myself a gentle giant who absolutely loves a good cuddle. Wherever you decide to hang out I'll be there to provide a nice and fluffy pup to hug. My previous family was composed of my mom, my sister (she was such a small dog), and my brother (I always thought he was different... turns out he's what's called a cat!) My foster dad loves plants and animals. And I've proven myself to be great with all of them. I've been caught chilling on the couch with my fosters dog and cat on multiple occasions. I do need to be honest with you about a few things... my previous mother was older. And because of that I've developed some "bad" habits. When left alone my anxiety definitely gets the best of me. There have been occasions where I've had accidents on my foster dad's floors due to anxiety. I'm also a stress eater and will swipe whatever I can reach off the counters when I'm alone. My foster dad reassures me that all of my lovable traits definitely outweigh the negative ones. I hope you give me a chance, and I'm looking forward to being in my forever home! ~Sincerely Kodi Adoption Fee: $325    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.INTERESTED IN MEETING ME? I have been loving life since I came into rescue. Getting attention and pets from humans in is absolutely the best! I am great with all the people I meet. I flash my beautiful blue eyes at them and they can’t resist giving me some attention. I have a whole pack worth of friends at my foster house and I love to play with the little one especially. He is really fun. I have a couple of human kids at home too that I am great with and love to lay on their legs at night. Walks seem to be a new thing for me, but I am learning fast and LOVE exploring my new world. I am potty trained but don’t love my crate yet. I am good there at night when my people are sleeping near me. I am not very vocal but have been known to sing along with a siren here and there. Not too loud that I bother the neighbors though. I am excited to get to meet my forever family! We will have the best time together. Aria is easy going, eager to please, and friendly with other dogs. She is gentle, intelligent, good natured, and loyal. Aria is an incredible walker and athletic. Even though Aria is quite mellow, as a husky mix, she will need a family who is willing to walk /exercise daily to keep her mentally and physically stimulated. Aria does well on a leash and is crate and potty trained. She knows some basic commands. Aria came to Healing Hearts with a secondary skin infection as a result of mange; although healed, she still has numerous scabs under her fur that will eventually fall off.
