His mom was a German Shepard/Timberwolf and his dad an Akita.   Mowgli loves affection and will do anything for a treat, especially if there is peanut butter involved!   He knows sit and almost has down, down pat. He is great with other dogs as well as cats! Mowgli also loves kids!  He is a big boy though, at 90 pounds, so might be a bit much for very small children. Mowgli would love to find a loving, active family to call his own! Story
Sawyer loves his people, he would love a home where he can be around his humans most of the time. This sweet boyo is is house trained and has lived with cats previously! Because Sawyer, like most dogs that get a little bit of anxiety when their humans leave, also gets a bit anxious in his kennel, he'd need a sturdy kennel if that's your preferred way of keeping him safe when you aren't at home. Sawyer walks well on a leash which makes him a great outdoor buddy. If you know of any good swimming holes this boy would love to hang out with you at them. His family did not want to surrender him, but due to work and school obligations they were not home enough to keep Sawyer happy. This lovable pup is very food-motivated and will do just about anything for a tasty treat. Sawyer has mastered the art of "sit" and will eagerly obey the command in exchange for a delicious reward. Sawyer needs a home with no young children. Sawyer is living in a foster home. If you would like to learn more about him or meet him please email foster@kcpetproject.org
