I’m Neko, a 3-year-old Mastiff/Akita mix with a gentle soul and a big heart. I recently finished treatment for heartworms and did an amazing job resting and healing. Now that I’m feeling better, I’m ready to get back to enjoying life. I’m potty trained, independent, and love being around my people. I’m also a big fan of other dogs, which is why I sometimes get excited when I see them — I just really want to go say hi! When I’m feeling my best, I love long walks (2+ miles) and exploring the world with my person. I was previously living with a family, and now I’m looking for a fresh start with someone who will love me as much as I’ll love them. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion who’s overcome a tough chapter and is ready for a happy one, come meet me. 🐾
