Hi there… I’m Iris. I’m 1.5 years old, I have these big bright blue eyes everyone keeps talking about, and I’m really hoping they help me find the human I’ve been dreaming about.I’ll be honest — I’m a little shy with new people. Meeting someone for the first time makes my heart do nervous tap-dancing. But if you give me a little time, I promise I’ll show you my softer, sillier side. Once I trust you, I love being close… like “you’re my comfort human now” close.Now, if you have another dog? Oh boy.Dogs are my jam.They make me brave, happy, and zoomie-powered. I’d love a dog friend who can show me the ropes and maybe join me in some daily “run like the wind” sessions.Here’s what I think you might like about me:🐾 I sleep in my kennel all night like a champion🐾 I’m great on a leash, so walks with me are easy🐾 I’m almost totally housebroken — really trying my best!🐾 I’m a quiet girl who isn’t into barking drama🐾 I love zoomies and running with my foster siblings — it’s my favoriteI’m looking for a patient, gentle human who will let me warm up at my own pace… and maybe admire my blue eyes once in a while. I’m a 2-year-old husky mix with blue eyes, a soft white-yellow coat, and a personality that’s equal parts chill and playful. I weigh about 50 lbs and love a good balance of sunny naps, cozy couch time, and the occasional zoomie or toy squeak session.I’m a smart girl who knows my basic commands, learns quickly, and does great with structure and routine. I’m house-trained, kennel-trained, and enjoy walks, sniffing around outside, and even jogging.I absolutely love people. Belly rubs, attention, and being part of the action are my favorite things, and I make a wonderful companion.I do take daily medication for seizures, and have been seizure free for 5 months. It’s easy to manage and not expensive.Right now, I’d do best as the only pet while I continue building confidence, but in return you’ll get all my love, loyalty, and snuggles.If you’re looking for a sweet, outdoorsy-but-cuddly sidekick with a big heart and a calm, loving nature, I just might be your girl.--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
