Hi there! I’m Iris.I’m about 2 years old, with big, bright blue eyes that people tell me are hard to forget. I’m hoping they help me catch the attention of the person meant just for me. My foster mom says I am the perfect size, 43 pounds of love!I’ll be honest. I’m a shy girl when we first meet. New people make my heart do a little nervous tap dance. But if you give me some patience and kindness, I promise I’ll start to show you my sweet, gentle side. Once I trust you, I love being close… like “you’re my safe place now” close.I love my foster sibling. Having another dog around helps me feel more confident and comfortable, so I’d likely do best in a home with a canine friend to show me the ropes and maybe share a few zoomies.Here’s a little more about me:🐾 I’m fully house trained and kennel trained – such a good girl at home🐾 I love going on walks and do great on a leash🐾 I enjoy playing with my foster sibling, chewing on my toys, and taking naps🐾 I’m gentle, quiet, and growing braver every dayI’m looking for a patient, understanding family who will let me settle in at my own pace.
