Hi, I’m Fletch, a handsome 55-pound sweetheart from Alabama, and I’m looking for my forever family!I’m social, sweet, and very gentle. Once I know you’re my friend, I’m all about the love—and I have plenty of kisses to give! ❤️I’m house trained, crate trained, and I sleep beautifully in my crate at night. I’m still learning about this whole “living in a house” thing, though. I’m discovering that there are lots of new things to figure out! But I’m smart, and I’m getting more comfortable every day.Leash walking is brand new to me, too. I’ve never been taught, but I’m ready to learn with someone who will show me the way. I'd love to be your walking buddy!I love other dogs and enjoy being playful with them. Toys? I’m not quite sure what those are yet—but I suspect my forever family might have a lot of fun introducing me to them! What makes me special? My gentle heart. I’m just a sweet boy who wants to feel safe, loved, and part of a family. If you’re looking for a big, gentle lovebug who is ready to learn, grow, and give you a lifetime of kisses, I might just be your Fletch. ❤️--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Hi, my name is Pop!I’m a sweet pup bursting with joyful enthusiasm—and I’m ready to POP into my forever family! I’m still discovering the big world outside my home. New things can be a little intimidating at first, but I’m also SO curious! Every day I’m getting braver, learning more, and figuring out just how much fun this world can be.At my foster home, I’m doing great! I’m doing well with potty training when kept on a tight schedule, and I sleep through the night in my crate. I already know “sit." Sometimes I get SO excited to see people that I just have to jump up and give kisses—but I’m learning that all four paws are supposed to stay on the floor. Apparently humans have rules about these things.I’m learning to love walks! There is just SO MUCH to smell and see! Sometimes I need a little encouragement to remember that we're actually supposed to keep walking instead of investigating every single interesting thing, but I’m getting the hang of it.I’m also finding my voice! I’ve started experimenting with my bark and figuring out all the different things I might need to tell my humans about. I have important opinions, you know!Did someone say TREATS?! I love treats of every kind and am VERY food motivated, which makes training me pretty fun! I especially love figuring out how to get treats out of my Kong toys. And toys? Give me ALL of them! Squeaky toys and anything I can play tug with are especially awesome. But underneath all that enthusiasm, I’m a snuggler. After I'm done playing and exploring, I love curling up with my humans for some snuggles and a good belly rub.I’m looking for a family who will appreciate my exuberant spirit, continue helping me build confidence, and show me how to become the very best boy I can be.I have so much love to give—I’m just waiting for the right people to give it to.Are you ready for me to POP into your life and change it forever?I can’t wait to meet you!Love,Pop --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
*Felicity’s adoption fee has been sponsored thanks to a generous donor*Hi! I’m Felicity, and if you’re looking for a soft, sweet, snuggly girl to share your couch with, I think we should talk.I’m a 2½-year-old Husky/Pittie mix weighing about 40 pounds, which I happen to think is an excellent size for cuddling. And cuddling is something I take very seriously. I’m incredibly soft, I love being close to my people, and if there’s an available spot next to you—or possibly on you—I’m probably going to find it.I was born in Alabama and made the big trip to Minnesota when I was just 7 weeks old. Since then, I’ve spent my life in foster homes. My foster families have taken good care of me, but after more than two years of being someone’s foster dog, I’m more than ready to finally be someone’s forever dog.I’ve also learned some pretty important household skills along the way. For starters, I’m 100% housetrained. Yep, 100%. No fine print, no asterisks. I know where a lady is supposed to take care of her business.I’m good with kids, and I can live with other dogs and even cats. I just need a little time to get comfortable with new four-legged roommates. I’m not necessarily the girl who walks into a room and immediately declares everyone my new best friend. Give me some time to figure things out, let me get to know everybody at my own pace, and I do just fine. What I really love, though, is being with my people. I’m affectionate, gentle, and happiest when I can settle in beside someone I trust. After spending practically my entire life in foster care, I’ve gotten pretty good at adapting to other people’s homes. Now I’d really like one of my own.So, what do you say? I’ve already traveled from Alabama to Minnesota, learned my house manners, figured out kids, dogs and cats, and perfected the art of cuddling.I think I’m ready for my last move.Love,Felicity 🐾💕Felicity is a little fighter who has been diagnosed with autoimmune disease called Canine dermatomyositis (DMS) which is an inherited disease that causes inflammation of the skin, muscles, and blood vessels in dogs. She deserves to find her family just like every other dog up for adoption in rescue. If you feel you can provide her with all that she needs, a lifetime of love and care, snuggles and commitment, please make sure to fill out an adoption application. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
**Toms' adoption fee has been partially sponsored by a generous sponsor**Hi! My name is Toms, and I was adopted from Warrior Rescue when I was just a puppy. I’m now 3½ years old, and my family calls me “Happy Slappy Tail” because my tail is almost always wagging!I’m a sweet, mellow boy who loves car rides, going for walks, and curling up for cuddles. My people tell me I’m the best boy all the time, and I think they’re onto something! I love being with my humans and am happiest when I’m part of whatever you’re doing.Because life threw my family some unexpected challenges, I didn’t get as much exercise as I needed, so I’m carrying a few extra pounds. My vet says more walks, playtime, and maybe even a canine buddy would help me get back to a healthier weight—and I think that sounds like fun!I’m looking for a new home because sadly my best friend/dad passed away and my mom can no longer handle a big, strong guy like me. I do well on walks with someone who can manage my size, and with a little consistency, I’ll make a wonderful walking companion.I also have epilepsy, but it’s well managed with medication. I happily take my medicine mixed into my dog food. During a seizure, I’m a little out of it but luckily it only last a couple of minutes. Before long I’m right back to being my happy, cuddly, tail-wagging self.People always compliment my beautiful eyes and adorable freckles, but I hope you’ll fall in love with my gentle heart just as much. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a wagging tail, lots of love to give, and plenty of cuddles to share, I just might be your perfect match.I can’t wait to meet you! With love,Toms 🐾--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $200To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Haku means "pure" in Japanese! I was named for my pure, passionate and overwhelming love for everyone around me! I came to the rescue when my dad was stationed in Japan and heartbroken that he couldn't take me with him. I've missed him so much ever since! Everyday I do the things I did with him with other dogs so I can try and remember what it felt like to be with him! But it's just not the same. So, I'm hoping a new family can come scoop me up and show me what it feels like to be a part of a home and family again! I am good with other dogs, I love playing chase with them or tugging on chew toys. I'll need a happy and active home so that my life will be full of love and fun! I am a bit anxious and nervous around new people, and people in general! Slow introductions, a safe space I can retreat to like a crate and not forcing me into spaces with tons of people will help me be myself all the time! Haku can only be adopted in the local or TX area. Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX)

Story
Ruby is a stunning Husky mix with a gentle soul and wonderful manners. This beautiful girl has the softest, sweetest presence and is an absolute joy to be around. She listens well, knows commands, and truly wants to please her people. Ruby has already shown what an amazing dog she is by raising four puppies and doing a phenomenal job. She was a devoted, loving mom and has transitioned seamlessly into being a calm, affectionate companion. She loves people, does well with other dogs, and is a dream indoors. Ruby is fully house-trained, crate-trained (though she doesn’t need one), and has excellent house manners, no chewing or destructive behaviors. Outside, her playful Husky side shines. She loves to run, play, and show off her zoomies. Like most Huskies, Ruby thrives with regular exercise and mental stimulation. If bored, she may try to explore, so a secure yard and an active lifestyle are important. She has been around cats and will bark at them, but with time and guidance, this may improve. Ruby would do best with an adopter who understands the Husky breed and is ready to give her the activity, structure, and love she deserves. In return, she will be a loyal, affectionate, and truly special companion. ✨ Ruby is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, and loving Husky mix to add to your family, Ruby just might be your perfect match. 💕🐶 Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
