Story
Keke is a stunning 1.5-year-old Alaskan Malamute who is the definition of a "people dog." He is great with both kids and cats! He doesn't have high endurance, but he does have a "big dog" spirit that craves space. He is looking for a home with a large, fenced yard where he can roam, sniff, and relax outdoors at his own pace. He knows how to "heel," but he can still be a "puller" on the lead when he’s excited to explore. Keke is smart and thrives under consistent leadership. He does have resource-guarding tendencies, specifically with his squeaky toy balls. Thus, he needs an experienced owner who understands how to manage boundaries and use "trade-up" training.Keke has a sensitive stomach and needs a consistent, high-quality diet to stay healthy. Because he is a powerful, spirited boy, he is not suitable for first-time owners. He needs a pack leader with large-breed experience who can provide the structure and consistency he needs to thrive.

Story
Age: 4 years (est)Weight: 58lbsMeet Lavender-- Lavender came to us from a partner shelter where she was brought in as a stray with another dog. She is a giant floof who is super personable. During her behavioral evaluation, it was noted that she was very interactive with people, and also very into her toys and other high value objects, so an adult only home or one with older children would likely be best. Lavender has also gotten along well with other dogs, so a new canine sibling might suit her. She has been recently groomed and is ready to hit the town!We are still getting to know her, but we do know that she would love for you to come and visit her! If you`d like to meet her, feel free to call our adoptions desk or stop by during Browsing Hours: Tue-Sun 11-5.

Story
A kind person saved him when he was left in a box at a parking lot. From an accidental litter due to parents not being sp/n. They work full time and contacted us to take him in. He got his first vet care and now learning at his foster home and puppy trainer. Cutie Robin size of Malamute is very sweet friendly and loves playing with other pups. Doing great and cuddly. Robin loves to follow his person around. He is enjoying his healthy foods and treats. Need husky experienced guardian and home with fenced yard. We have tried different high quality and holistic foods (kibble and can) but he has a sensitive GI and got loose stools. He had a stool sample test and negative. He does best eating Raw diet mix or food with no wheat or legume. No runny stools when he eats raw diet. Update: Robin is now eating freeze dried raw and trying different foods. He has gone to training classes and great with everyone. Lovable. Great with other nice dogs. Robin loves going out for hikes and long walks.March 7, 2026, 12:25 pm

Story
It is with great sadness that I have to rehome our 6 year old Malamute Tundra. We rescued her 6 months ago and she is still not getting along with our dogs and it is stressful to her. She is really sweet but does have food aggression. She loves rides in the car and walks well on a leash, although she walks slow. She will let you know when she needs to go outside to use the restroom and has severe separation anxiety. She would do better in a home with adults and no other pets. A retired person or couple or adult who works from home would be ideal. When we rescued her she was underweight, had soft puppy paws from not being on pavement, dull teeth with lots of build up from only having soft food, and under developed thigh muscles from not being walked. She is about 120 lbs, teeth are good, and he thighs are getting better. She is up to date on shots, she is spayed, she is microchipped, and she is registered. This breaks my heart but she deserves better.
