Story
A kind person saved him when he was left in a box at a parking lot. From an accidental litter due to parents not being sp/n. They work full time and contacted us to take him in. He got his first vet care and now learning at his foster home and puppy trainer. Cutie Robin size of Malamute is very sweet friendly and loves playing with other pups. Doing great and cuddly. Robin loves to follow his person around. He is enjoying his healthy foods and treats. Need husky experienced guardian and home with fenced yard. We have tried different high quality and holistic foods (kibble and can) but he has a sensitive GI and got loose stools. He had a stool sample test and negative. He does best eating Raw diet mix or food with no wheat or legume. No runny stools when he eats raw diet. Update: Robin is now eating freeze dried raw and trying different foods. He has gone to training classes and great with everyone. Lovable. Great with other nice dogs. Robin loves going out for hikes and long walks.September 14, 2026, 12:34 am

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog G:4Oban – Calm, Independent, and Easygoing Oban is a 9-year-old Alaskan Malamute mix weighing 84 pounds. This sweet senior has a calm, independent personality and is wonderfully easy to handle. Easygoing on walks: Oban walks nicely on leash, with only occasional moderate pulling, enjoying leisurely walks and sniffing. Calm and independent: Oban is content doing his own thing. After some time sniffing around the yard, he happily settles and chills. He doesn’t seek out pets nor constant attention, but he remains calm and pleasant in his surroundings. Curious about the world: Oban sometimes takes an interest in people and dogs passing by, quietly observing what’s happening around him. Patient and tolerant: Oban showed an impressive amount of patience during a two-hour bath and brushing session, taking the experience in stride. Oban would be a great fit for someone who appreciates a calm, independent senior companion. He would do best with appropriately matched dogs, as a solo dog with appropriate dog friends.September 14, 2026, 2:48 am

Thor is appx 5 to 6 yrs old, Alaskan Malamute! He was one of the 10+ pups that was rescued from the meat market in Wenshan about 3 yrs ago. He's very sweet, friendly and loves everyone! He does well with other dogs but he would try to be the dominant in the pack in the beginning, and he needs an owner that will be able to tell him no and be strict with him so he can learn quickly! He does best with another young med/large dog in the home close in age and medium energy activity level that he can romp and wrestle with. Rufus is still skittish of many things, narrow spaces, loud noises, crowded places so living in a non urban environment may be a best match for him.
