Story
Age: 4 years (est)Weight: 58lbsMeet Lavender-- Lavender came to us from a partner shelter where she was brought in as a stray with another dog. She is a giant floof who is super personable. During her behavioral evaluation, it was noted that she was very interactive with people, and also very into her toys and other high value objects, so an adult only home or one with older children would likely be best. Kimber has also gotten along well with other dogs, so a new canine sibling might suit her. She has been recently groomed and is ready to hit the town!We are still getting to know her, but we do know that she would love for you to come and visit her! If you`d like to meet her, feel free to call our adoptions desk or stop by during Browsing Hours: Tue-Sun 11-5.

Meet Fargo: The Sweet-Talker! Male 2.5 years old  Hi everyone, my name is Fargo! I'm a sweet and charming 2.5-year-old Alaskan Malamute mix. At about 50 lbs, I'm on the smaller side, but don't let that fool you—I can howl and "talk" like a true Malamute! I'm a very laid-back Northern breed dog, and I love a good snuggle. I'm an all-around great companion who is house-trained, crate-trained, and a pro on the leash. I enjoy all sorts of activities, like playing with a tennis ball, camping, and playing in the snow. I even like helping with the Christmas lights! I love children, but like any gentleman, I just need them to respect my stuff and my space. I'm ready to find a loving home where I can share my sweet nature and great personality. Come meet me, and let's see if we're a perfect match! Meet Mochi: Your New Best Friend! 2 year old Neutered Male Hey there, it's me, Mochi! I'm a laid-back, loyal, and charming 2-year-old Alaskan Malamute and Siberian Husky mix, and I'm ready to find my forever family. I'm a great fit for first-time dog owners because I'm easy to train and a breeze to walk on a leash. I'm also house-trained and crate-trained. I'm all about adventures! I love camping, hiking, and paddle boarding—you name it, I'm ready. If there's water nearby, you can count me in. I get along with big dogs and absolutely adore kids of all ages. However, I'm not a fan of cats and would do best in a home without them or small dogs. If you're looking for a loving and adventurous companion, I'm your guy. Fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website, and let's meet up! Story
A kind person saved him when he was left in a box at a parking lot. From an accidental litter due to parents not being sp/n. They work full time and contacted us to take him in. He got his first vet care and now learning at his foster home and puppy trainer. Cutie Robin size of Malamute is very sweet friendly and loves playing with other pups. Doing great and cuddly. Robin loves to follow his person around. He is enjoying his healthy foods and treats. Need husky experienced guardian and home with fenced yard. We have tried different high quality and holistic foods (kibble and can) but he has a sensitive GI and got loose stools. He had a stool sample test and negative. He does best eating Raw diet mix or food with no wheat or legume. No runny stools when he eats raw diet. Update: Robin is now eating freeze dried raw and trying different foods. He has gone to training classes and great with everyone. Lovable. Great with other nice dogs. Robin loves going out for hikes and long walks.August 31, 2025, 12:36 pm

Story
Hello! My name is Alexi and I'm a spayed female, 5-month-old Alaskan Malamute puppy that currently weighs about 45lbs. I'm a growing girl that will reach between 77 and 95lbs as an adult. Are you a fan of fuzzy balls of sunshine and melodical howling? Well look no further! I'm hoping for a family that understands the needs of Nordic breeds like me. I'm a fun loving and rambunctious pup that's friendly, but still learning manners so training is a must. I'm food motivated so it'll be fun for all of us! Because I'm going to be a very large fluff ball and I'm working on impulse control, I prefer to live in households with children that are 10 years or older. If you have a resident dog, I'd love to say a proper 'hello' before joining your family. For more information about me, just ask Customer Service about Alexi ID# A978025Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Story
Oversized teddy bear seeks snuggle partner. Cuddly, smart, and eager to please, swipe right if you can handle this high energy heart with a soft side. Hatchi’s story is heartbreaking — he came into the shelter with his brother, but when their owner returned, they only took his brother… leaving Hatchi behind in a high-kill shelter. He soon found himself on the euthanasia list. Hatchi is now in a loving foster home and is looking for his forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and supported again. Hatchi does require eye drops daily for the remainder of his life. In our dream world, Hatchi would find a human that would help him feel confident and secure in a FINALLY stable environnment.
