With incredibly heavy hearts, we’ve made the difficult decision to rehome our two beloved dogs, Izzy and Opie. Due to a recent medical emergency in our family—my grandfather suffered a stroke and now struggles with severe balance issues—we can no longer give Izzy and Opie the freedom and attention they deserve. They’ve been kept in a separate room for safety, and it’s just not the life they should be living. Opie, going on 5, has been by Izzy’s side since he was a puppy. He’s a big, goofy boy with a huge heart and an even bigger love for running and playing outside. He needs a yard where he can stretch his legs and be his silly self. He knows his basics—sit and lay down—and is eager to please. Together, they are a joy. They’re great with kids, cats, and other medium-to-large dogs (they haven’t been around small dogs, but we believe they’d adjust just fine with proper introductions). Their bond is deep and unshakable—they must be adopted together.

My elderly parents just moved with me and it’s not good for my father’s health. Dakota does shed and it’s a problem for him. I got her from a baby from here in Florida. They told me she was a purebred American bulldog. She will be 4 years old coming March 2026. She has had 2 litters with me and a total of 23 babies. Loves to go for runs in the yard, we have a large yard. Loves to play with balls. Looking for a family that will love her and take care of her.
