He was a dog that was abandoned by my son who was unable to care for him so I took him as a puppy in my home because I love animals. During the course of 5 years, I’ve loved him the best of my abilities but last year I got into a serious car accident and was unable to care for him like I used to. So now I decided that I think it’s best to find him a home to wear out his energy.

Very affectionate 6 yr old 45 lbs low-medium energy spayed potty trained female Bully pit mix was adopted from local animal control. Knows sit, come, paw. Initially did well with our other dog (1 yr old 80 lbs very high energy), but then started to be aggressive and bit him- now we keep them separate. We took her to trainers who said she’s easily overstimulated, so she would be happier in a quieter/less active home with experienced adults and her as the only dog. We haven’t seen her interact with animals other than our dog or with kids, but trainers advised could be the same reaction to being overstimulated. If we can’t find a suitable adopter, we will have to return her to animal control.

"Take me for a car ride!" is Ducky's constant refrain. Who is Ducky? Only the sweetest 2 year old black and white bulldog/pittie mix in foster care! Ducky is 65 pounds of gentle, sweet, loving goof. Good with other dogs? Check! Ducky is completely non-reactive to dogs. When he’s out in the yard with the resident golden retriever, they sniff each other, and then they stand next to each other and enjoy the fresh air. When a pittie friend of the family comes for a playdate, he humps Ducky, obsessively, and Ducky just stands there. When the resident puppy was running around, trying to get Ducky to play with her, play bowing from different angles, Ducky just stood there unsure of what the next step was. In short Ducky is very chill. His foster parents report he doesn’t really understand how to play with toys, yet but is trying. No toys doesn't stop Ducky from loving bathtime. Other things Ducky loves? People!! Every new person is his best friend. Car rides! Ducky is an outstanding roadtrip companion. He sits quietly in the backseat and looks out the window. You!!! :D Ducky is house trained, crate trained (especially for a cookie!), and working on learning leash manners. He is very strong, and doesn't know his own strength. His adopter will need to work with a trainer to help him learn to walk easily on a leash. Due to Ducky's size and strength his foster mom recommends kids older than 10 who won't be as easily knocked over by the 65 pounds of love. He can be cat tested upon request. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

She loves to go on walks and play with toys. She’ll even take a toy on a walk with her. She loves people and is a cuddle bug.  Daisy's perfect home would be anywhere someone has patience and loves to cuddle. She wants to meet every dog she sees but doesn’t know how to properly give them space, so proper intros are a must. Once she's made friends, her favorite thing to do is to play chase. She’s been around older children and has done great. She can be a bit mouthy at times, but corrects easily. She likes the kids' attention.Daisy will go into the crate but will whine and bark for about 5-10 minutes. She does better if she cannot see or hear her people. Treats and toys help to keep her occupied, especially stuffed toys. She has recently learned not to potty in her crate and is mostly house trained, so long as she is kept on a regular schedule. She tends to perceive "toys" in the broader sense of the word as she still needs to learn that anything on the ground is not meant for her mouth.Tutu should do well in any suburban home. Because she is a little cautious around cars and loud sounds, a city home might not be as optimal. She plays great with other dogs in a submissive manner and reads their signs very well. Kid friendly except for potentially showering them with too many kisses and licks, she has also done well around cats as she just ignores them. Tutu rides great in the car and does well on the leash aside from some pulling. In terms of the crate, she goes in willingly and typically settles in quickly.
