Ice is a sweet and loving dog she loves walks and enjoys playing and lots of cuddles. She also gets along with other animals and is very friendly. I acquired her from my brother who couldn’t provide a home any longer and now we are relocating and would love to find her a supportive home.

Rocco's Story Meet Rocco. He came to my house last week for an evaluation.... and I liked him so much I asked if he could spend the weekend while I got to know him a little better. He's a big lug of a guy with an even bigger heart. Rocco is a calm guy, nervous at first in a new environment, but tries his best. He loves to plop his bum right into the lap of his person, snuggle on the couch, and keep watch out of the window. He is a quiet guy. Sometimes off to himself, sometimes joining folks on the couch. I suspect he will be fine with cats, but since each cat is an individual, a meet and greet would be critical. He walks and hangs out with some other dogs. I have seen no prey drive from Rocco, instead, he has sat and watched the birds and squirrels in my window feeder. We are working on crate training and stairs. At present, stairs are a little too scary for Rocco. Rocco has some allergies that are controlled with over the counter medications. Rocco is a resident of Scituate Shetler where he is a staff and volunteer favorite. Unfortunately he has been there since January, so they asked us to help them get him seen by someone who will want to take him home and love him forever. We are grateful they did, "to know Rocco is to love him". Rocco comes with a Handsome Dan's Rescue Take My Lead grant entitling him to up to $500 in private training and supplies. Story
🐾 Meet Oscar! 🐾 This handsome boy was found crying under a van during a storm, and thanks to a Good Samaritan, he’s now safe and ready to find his forever home. 💙 ✨ About Oscar: Young pup full of energy and love ⚡ Crate trained 🐕‍🦺 Great with kids, but still learning manners 👧👦 Loves other dogs! 🐶🐶 Enjoys walks, outdoor playtime, and then curling up on the couch for snuggles 🛋️💤 Cuddler extraordinaire 💕 Oscar is playful and can roughhouse with dogs close to his age, but he also has a big soft side. Once he’s had his fun, he’s happiest curled up in your lap soaking up affection. With his enthusiasm for life, he’ll thrive with a family who can give him structure, exercise, and plenty of love. 🐕 Ideal Home: Oscar would do best in an active home. A family ready to continue his training will help him grow into the amazing companion we already know he can be. Story
Rayne is a Boxer/Bulldog mix (our best guess—a pretty good one we think!) with the gentlest, most loving soul you could imagine. This beautiful girl has a heart full of devotion and is dreaming of finding her person to love forever.Rayne adores her humans. She bonds quickly and deeply, happiest when she’s by your side—whether that’s tagging along on an adventure, supervising couch snuggles, or simply soaking up your presence. She thrives on connection and routine and wants nothing more than to be someone’s loyal little shadow and best friend. While Rayne has loved having sleepovers and play dates with canine friends the past four months, we're looking for a home where she is the only permanent dog. This is due to issues with the resident dog in her prior adoptive home. There have been zero issues in her foster home however we're being extra cautious just in case. Cats and critters? No-thanks from Rayne. But give her consistency and patience, and this girl will give you the most loyal, loving companionship in return. If you’re the kind of person who believes in second chances and soul-dog connections, Rayne might just be the one you’ve been waiting for.🩵 Only pet however she gets along with dogs just fine outside of her home🩵 Daily walks + continued training = happy Rayne🩵 Devoted, silly, sensitive, and SO worth itLet Rayne bring a little sunshine to your world.Check out her videos: https://youtu.be/1Nt2LZaSlT0?feature=sharedhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Nt2LZaSlT0https://www.youtube.com/shorts/NTcgKFxM-9wName: RayneBreed: American Bulldog Mix Sex: FemaleAge: 1 1/2 - 2 yearsWeight:58 lbs Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: UntestedGood with Dogs: Yes but should live alone with her humansGood with Cats: No Adoption Fee: $500.00Location of dog currently: New England IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England. Story
Meet Iggy — the definition of resilience wrapped up in the sweetest, most loving pup you could ever hope to meet.Iggy checks all the boxes: he’s crate trained, potty trained, wonderful with kids, and gets along great with other dogs. He walks beautifully on a leash and settles into home life like he’s always belonged there. He’s easygoing, gentle, and has that calm, comforting presence that makes you instantly feel at peace. He LOVES going on little adventures, tagging along for car rides, making trips to the local Tractor Supply, and finding anyone he can to pet his big noggin. But what truly makes Iggy special is his story. This boy is a survivor. Not long ago, he was on the brink of death at an unimaginable weight of just 28 pounds — nearly three times smaller than the healthy, strong boy he is today. After getting to a healthy weight, Iggy completed heartworm treatment like a champ. He has spent the last year with our southern rescue partners healing — not just physically, but emotionally too. And through it all, Iggy didn’t just survive… he thrived.Despite all he endured, he remained the sweetest, most affectionate dog you could imagine. He’s the kind who melts right into you for love (literally), the kind who quietly stays by your side, the kind who makes you wonder how in the world he hasn’t been scooped up already. After everything he’s been through, Iggy is more than ready for a forever family to call his own. And whoever is lucky enough to adopt him isn’t just getting a good dog — they’re getting a truly special one.Name: IggyBreed: American Bulldog/CrossbreedSex: MaleAge: 2 years  (estimated)Weight: 60.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: NegativeMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: YesGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    MississippiIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher.
