Urgent need.Beautiful female puppy born on May 5th. She will be a big girl as Mom is American bulldog and Dad was of unknown breed but taller and longer than the Mom.She is a sweet girl, playful and eager to please. Working on potty training as she uses pee pads when inside. She is used to being around other dogs.I already have my own two dogs and can't physically mentally or financially take care of 5 dogs. I live in a very small house with no fence and it's been very hard. Please consider adopting.... thank you.

A few years ago, Pixie was saved from the Burlington Animal Shelter. Since then, she’s proven to be one of the sweetest, most loving dogs you could ask for.Unfortunately, she needs to be rehomed because she isn't getting along with another female dog in my home. Pixie needs a loving environment where she can be the center of attention as the only pet or the only female dog.When she was originally rescued, she had an old broken leg that didn't heal quite right, leaving her with a gentle limp, and she also has a cataract in one eye. Don't let that fool you, though—she still runs around without any issues and loves a good game of fetch! If you have room in your heart and home for a solo female pup, Pixie is ready to meet her new best friend.

Sprite is only about 10 months old and was found limping and scared to death behind a dumpster at an apartment complex. He needed slow approaches and some patience before he was ready to trust us, but once he realized our staff were there to help, his whole personality started coming out. Now Sprite is easy to leash, loves hanging out with people and walks beautifully. He’s still got plenty of puppy energy, but he’s already got some great basics down. He knows sit, loves fetch, brings his toys back and is happy to share them. He’s also both treat and toy motivated, so he’s ready to keep learning. His favorite activity: becoming physically attached to his person. Sprite loves leaning his whole body into you until he eventually flops over for belly rubs. He’ll even climb into your lap despite being 45 pounds, and he’s really just a big teddy bear. Sprite shows positive interest in other dogs, showing them happy tail wags and a friendly demeanor. Sprite has come a long way in a short time, and he’s ready for a home where he can keep being the goofy, playful puppy he is while continuing to grow into the big softie he’s already becoming. As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. To meet/adopt, visit us in Greensboro, NC from 12-4pm any day except Tuesdays; no appointment needed.
