Story
Breezy was adopted by us at 12 weeks old from a breeder in PA. She is now 3 years old. Breezy is an energetic, people friendly, happy dog. She loves snuggles and playing fetch, and is extremely athletic. Suffers from mild separation anxiety and will cry when separated from her family. Could benefit from some professional leash training and confidence building which we are willing to provide, and are in the process of beginning to implement at a local dog training facility. Breezy Marie is a very lovable and affectionate dog. The perfect home for Breezy would have a large fenced in yard with lots of room to run where she is the only pet in the household.

Story
Drip was acquired as a puppy a few years ago. She is currently 2 years of age. She is a very playful and loving pup while also being very obedient and quick to learn. It would be ideal to find her a home with plenty of room to run. She is leash trained although does not need a leash in appropriate environments, she'll stay by your side. The goal is to find her a home where she can receive the time and care needed to help reach her full potential and highest happiness.

**WE ARE CURRENTLY DOING ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. YOU MUST CALL TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING. PLEASE LEAVE US A VOICEMAIL IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO REACH US. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING.- CCDP STAFF** Hi there. My name is Chachi. I'm about 2 years old and I weigh about 67 lbs. I was found as a stray in the Salineville area and I was picked up by the pound. When I was picked up, I had quite a few wounds. One on my leg had abscessed and busted open. I had some vet care and I have to wear a cone for a little while so I leave my bandages alone, so that's why I have it on in my photos. I am a very sweet, loving and energetic boy. I love people and I get along well with most other dogs as long as they are nice to me. The pound does always recommend meet and greets for anyone that owns other dogs to make sure we get along. I love to play and I'm very smart, but like most bulldogs, I can be a little stubborn. I am very clean in my kennel and I appear to have been a house dog. If you're looking for a sweet dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me. Our adoption fee is $152. We accept cash, check or credit/ debit cards for adoption fees. If you pay using a credit or debit card, a convenience fee of 2.39% will also be applied. If paying by check, you will need 2. One Check will be for the dog license, and one will be for your dog's adoption fee, which includes a parvo/distemper vaccine, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, 3 days of panacur de-wormer, spay or neuter surgery, microchip, and a current Ohio dog license. We DO offer foster to adopt. (We will NOT accept cash for foster to adopt). We highly recommend you do a foster to adopt with your new dog if you are not 100% sure your new dog is going to work out in your home. Foster to adopt gives you a couple of weeks with the dog to make sure they are a good fit with your family before your payment is processed and the adoption is finalized. ALL DOGS/PUPPIES WILL BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED unless a health issue prohibits the surgery from being performed. Not all dogs posted for adoption are spayed/ neutered yet. If you're driving a long distance to adopt, please verify that the vetting process has been completed and dog you're interested in adopting is still available for adoption. The above mentioned vetting is all included in your adoption fee. The adoption fee and what is included in the adoption fee is NON-NEGOTIABLE. Adoptions MUST be done at the pound and in person as there is paperwork to fill out and an adoption contract that must be signed by the adopter. This means you must be willing to travel to our shelter to adopt. If the dog you're interested in adopting has medical conditions or injuries which require medical treatment, we ask that you help with the medical bills, in addition to their adoption fee if possible so we can continue to help the dogs coming in who need additional vet care. We are a county run shelter, therefore we cannot control our intake or the health or behavior of the dogs that come in to our shelter. Although we try our hardest to place all of our adoptable dogs, there are certain circumstances in which any dog in our care could be euthanized at any time and without further notice (IE: sudden untreatable medical condition or injury, temperament or behavioral problems which may not be apparent when the dog first arrives, etc.), therefore all dogs at our shelter should be considered urgent. We try our absolute hardest to never have to euthanize for space and have not had to do so for many years thanks to the ongoing support from the public and high adoption rates. Please remember; the adoption of a more highly adoptable dog will mean more time for the less adoptable dog in the kennel next to him! Shelter hours are Monday-Friday: 8 am- 4 pm. Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 8 am - 12 pm. Adoptions are always welcome any day of the week/ weekend and on holidays. We are here everyday to care for the dogs and the best way to make our day is to see our dogs go to loving families. There is nobody in the office on Saturday, Sunday or holidays, so therefore, we are unable to answer or return phone calls over the weekend. We are only staffed to take care of the dogs and do adoptions over the weekends/ on holidays. Can't adopt a dog? We would love to have more volunteers who are able to spend time with our dogs! The dogs LOVE going for walks and the socialization and exercise helps make the dogs more adoptable. Story
From out of this world, meet Venus! Venus came to us since her previous owner could no longer provide her with the care she deserves. Venus is still super young and could benefit from training classes. She can be a bit jumpy and mouthy, but nothing a little training can't fix! If you are interested in meeting with Venus then come meet her today!

Story
It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Walter! I like to greet people the old fashioned way, a tip of the nose, a meeting of the eyes, and a formal introduction of who I am. I've always kind of been an old-soul, at least that's what people tell me, with my wrinkled fur and gentle eyes. As an older gentleman I tend to have a bit more patience than these young whippersnapper pups. You'll find me waddling around quite slowly but my tail still wagging none the less! I have been known to snap when nervous, but I have come so far and I just need a little time and patience. Cause I just so want to be your big goofy friend! I have a soft and squishy face to go along with my squishy personality! I am great with my people and great with other dogs too. I am shy at the very first but am on the fast track to love! At 7-years old there's really only one thing I care about ... TREATS ... just kidding, it's being close to others. Being close to others helps remind me that I am here and my story is still being written with infinite possibilities. Perhaps you and I could write the next chapter together? Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
You might think it odd to be named after a military vehicle like a tank, but let me tell you ... I BLAST onto the scene! At 5-years old and an unwavering look in my eyes I have the energy and dedication to make it anywhere and do anything! I'm built and live this way because of how my life started off, not too great, as my previous owners tied me to a tree and never let me really LIVE! After I was rescued by my guardian angel things started looking up and I got stronger, faster, better, and happier! I got to experience the joys of playing with other dogs, being around people and just running around to my heart's content! My face always has a gleeful grin on it and my ears are always perked for the next adventure! I'd love to go on one with you specifically! Do you have what it takes to tame this Tank-Dog? Apply now! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
