Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application Headliner: Itsy, The Sweetest Potato Ever! Personality: Itsy, is a sweet, lovable, cuddle bug, with no aggression whatsoever who like any bulldog, has a stubborn streak. If she doesn't want to do something, she will just look at you with this pitiful look in her eyes. Favorite Activities: She loves to play with other dogs, occasionally gets the zoomies running around the back yard. Again, she's a bulldog so low activity with this girl. Medical Issues: Itsy came into the rescue with pretty bad skin and a lot of missing hair. Her skin is all cleared up but there are places the hair did not grow back. She may or may not grow that back but definitely does not take away from her cuteness! What Would be the Best Kind of Home: Itsy would love a home where her people would be home most of the day to dote on her. She just wants to be loved. Another dog for her to play with would be great. She needs patience and someone willing to work with her on finishing up her potty training.  Additional Comments: Itsy is a wonderful dog and with some house training will be the PERFECT pet to someone who will love her as much as she will love them! Click here to watch a video of Itsy.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. This laid-back pup may look like he'd rather be left alone, but don't be fooled - Eeyore enjoys the company of people, in his own special way. He's a master of two things: eating (he's a foodie at heart!) and napping (he's got the perfect technique). Eeyore's a bit aloof, but that's just part of his charm. He's a gentle soul who'll appreciate a patient and loving home. No adopters yet? No worries, Eeyore's happy to wait for the perfect match. Currently, Eeyore's focusing on his health and getting ready for a forever home. Eeyore is ready to find his people! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application Chugger is great boy. He is 100% Staffordshire Bull Terrier but is a dwarf with really bad hip displasia. He can only do 1 step and needs non slip floors. He has his own ramp to get up on the sofa. He is crate trained but has done great being left out when his foster is not home. He is on special food. He weighs about 54 lbs. He only goes outside to potty but “walks” are limited to a 5 minute lap around the perimeter of the house due to his weak legs. He is also pretty deaf. Not fully, but pretty severe. He is low maintenance. He sleeps a lot and plays with toys. Chugger likes company but is not a Velcro dog. He is not a fan of the snow/cold. He will need to be leashed to get him to go outside long enough to do his business. Otherwise he pees and runs for the door. He can do a couple of steps to get in the front door but does not do stairs at all. He doesn’t bark much at all. He met another small female dog and was non-reactive and had zero interest in her.  Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our fees and donations pay for the costs of rescuing dogs. Say hello to Calvin! Mr. Calvin here might be the Calvin to your Hobbes, he's so sweet! Calvin was given up by his finder to our rescue recently but he's in good hands. He instantly warmed up and got along with everyone here as soon as we got him. Calvin is a Beagle mix, he's a bit of a bigger boy with his stubby legs- kind of like a super solid beagle but isn't short. Calvin loves getting attention, he'll bump you with his head so you notice and pay attention to him! He'll need a bit of leash work but is very eager to get to work! That is what people notice most about Calvin, is his eagerness. He will need slow introductions to other people and animals as he can warm up to others slowly sometimes. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Meet Gayle, a female American Bulldog mix with a stunning apricot and white bicolor coat. Gayle loves spending time with people. She's incredibly friendly and cuddly, always eager to share affection. While Gayle enjoys the company of people, she can be selective with other dogs and might need a patient and experienced owner who can help her navigate her interactions. She's a bit anxious and defensive around other dogs, but with slow exposure and gentle guidance, she has the potential to adjust and become more comfortable over time. We suggest a single dog home for Gayle. If you're an experienced dog owner looking for a loving and energetic companion, Gayle could be the perfect addition to your family. With a little time and patience, she's sure to become a loyal and devoted friend. Come meet Gayle and see if you can be the one to provide her with a forever home filled with love and understanding.
