Despite her difficult past, she warmed up to our family right away and has shown nothing but affection, trust, and loyalty. She gets along wonderfully with our male dog but does not do well with other female dogs, so she’d thrive best as the only female dog in the home. Jade loves being close to her people, enjoys calm environments, and responds beautifully to kindness and consistency. He’s been with me since the day he walked up to my car and chose me, and he’s been nothing but sweet, snuggly, and playful ever since. Ody is a total people-lover—his favorite place is pressed right against your side, gently breathing on your cheek. Because of upcoming mandatory overtime at work, I’m sadly unable to give him the time and attention he deserves long-term. My hope is to find him a forever home where he can be the only dog and soak up all the affection, training, and patience that will help him grow into the amazing adult dog he’s meant to be. Ody would do best as an only dog. He gets along great with mine but is selective with others and has specific issues with white dogs. Fostering him has been a wonderful experience, and now he’s ready for a forever home where he can feel safe, grow, and truly thrive.
