Story
🎶 Bow wow yo yippee yay — meet Bowser! 🎶 Bowser is a 6–7 year old pup who is more than ready to find his forever people. He’s one of those dogs who makes you want to squish his face and smother him with love — and the best part? He lives for it. Bowser once had a family, but when he ended up in the shelter, no one came to claim him. He waited and waited… until we stepped in to give him the second chance he so clearly deserved. Over the last three months in foster care, it’s been incredible watching him blossom, learn to trust, and fully settle into home life . And let’s be honest — Bowser doesn’t think he’s a dog. He’s basically a small, furry human in a dog suit. He loves dressing up (and fully embracing the moment), believes snuggling is a competitive sport, and considers himself a full-time member of the household — not just a pet. He’s a 100% certified snugglebug/house hippo who will happily curl up next to you for movie night. Heated blankets? Elite. Squeaky toys? Also elite. He sleeps in bed when invited (manners!) and takes his role as Professional Cuddle Companion very seriously. Bowser is completely house trained and has full freedom in the home when his foster is away — no mischief here. He even has a standing four-week grooming appointment and is learning, with patience, that the nail dremel isn’t so scary after all. We love a growth arc. He walks beautifully on leash in open spaces and enjoys peaceful strolls, though busier areas with lots of dogs can still be a little overwhelming for him. (He has been known to “defend the household” from dogs on TV — security is important, after all.) A home that understands he’s still navigating some dog reactivity will help him continue to succeed. In the backyard, he’ll surprise you with joyful zoomies before returning to his true calling: being attached to his human. He does well with calm canine friends but would also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only sidekick, soaking up all the love and attention for himself. Now entering his golden years, Bowser deserves a home where he can bask in sunshine, security, and endless affection. His fur may be black, but make no mistake — Bowser is a golden boy through and through. Truly, we cannot understand how he hasn’t been scooped up yet. Could you be the lucky one to finally claim him? 🖤🐾

Story
Sammy, sweet ,Lab mix, very timid, needs quiet, loving home. Foster home appreciated. Sammy is about 4 yrs old, 55lbs, all white w/few black spots, very dog friendly. He’s fully vetted: vaccinated, dewormed, neutered, heartworm tested negative, and very healthy. He's active and playful, and loves chew bones. Sammy is still very shy and timid of people, but he really likes other dogs and feels most comfortable with them.  He will need some work with a patient owner to become more comfortable around people. He would do best with another confident dog in the home for bonding and for play time, and a fenced yard for exercise. He's a beautiful little boy. He's very sweet and gently friendly, wanting to trust and he will get there. Can someone open their home and heart to a little shy boy and watch him blossom, and give back love and devotion in spades. He just needs a chance to bond with someone special. He would most benefit from fostering in a home right now ! New videos available, just email us with any questions.

Story
While he is always on the search for his forever home...he will continue to keep one at Finally Home! We make a promise to the animals who live here that if we cannot find a home that is in their best interest, they will always have a sanctuary home right here! If, just IF, the right person is out there...looking for a special dog...this is what they may be looking for: *A 10+ year old senior who loves to run and play for 10 minutes with any squeaky toy before plopping down to rest. *A dog who wants to be your only pup! *A dog who loves back scratches and snuggles...and is looking for a best friend to spend his senior years with! Roscoe receives a daily pain pill for arthritis, omega 3 oils for his joints and is on a special diet. We know that it can be intimidating for someone to bring on a senior who may need a little more TLC, but we promise that there is nothing more rewarding than the unconditional love of an aging rescue!
