Even though Odie was abandoned by his previous family, he still loves people. He gets along with other dogs and children. He is high energy and hasn't learned to meet other dogs. He can be a bit intimidating to other dogs. His foster brother is a small 13 yr old rat terrier and Odie loves to sleep with him. It takes a slow introduction for him to settle down. If you want a hiking or camping buddy, Odie is your guy. Playing fetch and tug are also favorite things that he likes. He would love a family who would treat him like a family member. . He has already had his dental and is ready to start his new life as a family member. This is our sweet precious Lucy. Lucy had an owner but her owner used to turn her out every day to wander the streets. A friend of the rescue would pick her up when she saw her and bring her home. She feared that Lucy would get hit by a car so one day when she returned her home, she asked the owners if they would surrender her to a rescue. They agreed and Lucy arrived here happy as a clam. She's a big girl, not fat, just a big girl. She's a very gentle big girl, sleeps in my bed with all the little ones sleeping on top of her! She loves children and cats. She was heart worm positive when she arrived but we have cleared all of that up. Lucy maybe a little older at 8 years but she has the energy of a puppy. She loves to play all day with the rest of the shelter dogs. She is spayed, fully vaccinated and house broken. She needs her forever home, could that be you? No home is complete without a Winnie! Winnie, a spayed, adult female who is utd on wellness care, HW neg and on preventatives is looking to be an only dog or packed with laidback personality pups. Older children only please. She is a character and very loving. She is also a typical American Bulldog with a strong personality, which requires a patient but firm, non-confrontational handler. She has resource guarding issues that surface on rare occurrences but does require the ability to outsmart her in order to retrieve any obtained items. She loves car rides. I think car rides are her favorite thing in the whole world besides food. Winnie loves her food. She is not picky. She enjoys cuddling in her blankets and treats them very respectful like she does her plushies. Winnie does need attention and love, like we all do. Is your heart big enough to let her in? Winnie is utd on her wellness care, spay and has had basic obedience training. If interested in meeting this younger adult, please let me know.
