Story
Meet the charming Remy, believed to be around 6 years old and discovered as a stray. This 35-pound brindle bulldog is an absolute sweetheart with a gentle and quiet demeanor. Remy is fully vetted, microchipped, and ready to embark on a new chapter in a loving fur-ever home. All he desires for Christmas and the New Year is a caring family to call his own. Dog-friendly and people-friendly, Remy yearns for someone to love him and provide the stability he deserves. Despite having once belonged to someone, he found himself alone and unwanted, perilously close to being euthanized when our rescue intervened. Now, the focus is on finding Remy the perfect forever-loving home where he can thrive. If Remy has captured your heart and you are interested in offering him a home, please visit our website: https://Serendipityanimalrescue.org for more information, application, or to make an inquiry.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Melo completed a 3-week positive reinforcement board and train with a private trainer. During that time, he was challenged more to listen and carry out commands when told and without the need for treats.  Melo perfected better leash walking skills and all the basic commands (sit, down, watch me, leave it, stay, a release command, wait and come). Melo is now comfortable being in a crate with a simple command “crate” to go in and out with ease. Melo is very smart and learns quickly. He knows now though that the true reward is pleasing the person giving the command (a treat here and there is still nice and appreciated).  Melo would be an excellent choice for a companion for an owner who has high goals and expectations for their dogs.   During Melo’s board and train, he had the opportunity for lots of socialization with other dogs. After proper introductions and now using an “easy” command, Melo knows how to better socialize with other dogs. Melo’s adopter will need to remember that he is still a young dog who is working on perfecting his doggy body language reading skills. Melo would prefer to have a companion that is close to his size, but not needed as he does love human affection. Melo also has met some kitties. He did very well for testing, it would depend on the kitty as a dog savvy cat would do best as Melo likes to make friends by sometimes being vocal and we don't want to scare off any new kitty friends.  Melo has been around children of various ages and has done well with all of them. Because Melo is still young and has moments of excitement, especially when he hears children, we are recommending older children who are steady on their feet.  Melo is an energetic youngster who would enjoy living with an active family. His energy would make him an excellent running partner (with some training), hiking buddy or dedicated, long distance walking partner.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 30, 2024, 9:39 pm

Story
CHARLESTON IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN. CHARLESTON WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!    This hunk is Charleston. He is a four year old Bulldog mix. He is the sweetest fun loving goofball. He is a big boy who loves attention. He wants you to pet him, and he wants to lean into you with his whole body. He does not meet a stranger in a person or dog. He loves playing in the backyard with his toys, and then lounging on the porch sunbathing. He gets excited to go anywhere. He will run to the door and wait for you to let him out- then he jumps right in the car. This adorable boy has the most stunning eyes. We believe Charleston has some hearing loss. He seems to hear some pitches, but either doesn’t hear the others or ignores them. He does good walking on a leash, is kennel trained, and house trained. He loves greatly- he will become your shadow. If he wants your attention he will whine/talk to you to let you know. Charleston is a big boy with still a lot of puppy energy so a home with older children would be best. This guy is amazing, and deserves the perfect forever home! He is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped.  His adoption fee of $500 includes the transport to VA.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Charleston up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at:   newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Charleston  here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 1, 2024, 12:09 pm

Story
Bella & her running buddy, were left on the streets to fend for themselves. They had been wandering around that neighborhood for a while and befriended a kind business owner who made sure they did not go hungry. Thanks to that Good Samaritan who gained their trust, they were taken in & have been in foster care since. She has gained 20 pounds since then and is doing great! She is approx 3 years old & is fully vetted. As you can see in the video, she is a loving playful pup. Bella is a joyful soul who bonds closely to her people. This 60 lb dreamboat will steal your heart and shower you with love every day. Her furever family is going to be lucky beyond belief. If you are interested in learning more about this really sweet and deserving girl, please feel free to text or call Alecia Clark, @ 901-486-2850. We are a rescue organization located with our dogs in Tennessee and have weekly transport available for our pups to relocate up north with their new forever families. His adoption fee of $275 includes her vaccinations, spay, microchip and transport to her new furever home. Since a meet and greet is not possible prior to adoption, our adopters make their decision to adopt based on pictures, videos and talking to the foster parent. We will do everything possible to make sure she is the perfect match for you and your family & will be with you every step of the way.

Story
**WILLOW IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED** Meet Willow.  This itty-bitty girl might be the runt of the litter, but she has a ginormous personality and isn't afraid to show it off! Weighing in at a whopping 9 lbs @ 10 weeks old, she loves to play with her 85 lb foster brother, yell at her sister Cricket for dirt rolling her, sneak attack june bugs, and take spontaneous naps. She is a serious, SERIOUS cuddle bug and if given the chance, she would sleep on your face! Not even kidding.  Very affectionate, seems to take correction well, and even tempered for her age.  Zoomies - probably the most adorable zoomies I've ever seen in my life. We have not started leash training yet, but plan on doing so within the next couple of weeks.  She is crate trained, sleeps through the night, working on potty training but we still have accidents - she's 10 weeks old, accidents are going to happen.  We were told her litter was American Bulldog, but we honestly have no idea what these little grass goblins are mixed with until they get a little bit bigger. Willow will be ready for adoption on or around May 21st.  At that time, she will be fully vetted, microchipped, and spayed.  Willow's adoption fee of $550.00 includes transportation to VA.   We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Willow to her new family. If you have any questions, please email us at newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com,  and we will answer as soon as we possibly can. Story
Looking for a new furry friend? Look no further than Brady! This 1ish year old, Boxer mix is friendly, affectionate, playful, smart, and did we mention, funny? He's also athletic and loves giving kisses! Brady came in as a stray that no one ever came for! Brady has done well with the dogs he has met and he simply loves to play in the play yards and be with people! Brady is a bit on the young side and has lots of energy, so he'd be a great companion for someone who likes to adventure. He is still very much a puppy at 1 year of age and will need a patient and loving family to work with him as he settles into an amazing family member! Brady has been Neutered, we have microchipped and updated all vaccines including rabies. He has been given a dewormer and started on flea/tick prevention, heartworm tested (NEGATIVE) and given heartworm prevention.
