Diamond! #hmrdiamond is seriously one heck of a find! She was a cruelty case and was taken in as an emaciated girl. She has gained weight and muscle well over the past month and a half and we know she will continue to fill out and blossom once she gets into a real home. She absolutely adores all humans. She currently would do best in a home with kids over 8 as she is quite enthusiastic and might be too much for a house with little kids in it all the time. She is very good with other dogs, was even kenneled with a chihuahua while in shelter as they were overfilled. She is 1-2 yrs old and around 32 lbs at this point. She isn’t very big, maybe 15 inches tall at shoulder. Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. Currently located in Warrenton, VA but can be transferred for an approved application. Application and Petfinder can be found here- https://linktr.ee/hailmaryrescue1?utm_source=linktree_profile_share&ltsid=e19407ae-0c4e-45ac-9860-80c9da3d38a8

Story
Is Valentine’s Day not your deal? Wanna skip the whole dang month of February and get right to the good stuff? Are you looking for a friendly and outgoing new friend to celebrate with? Jordan could be your man! This guy is rocking the Saint Paddy vibes with his new collar and we can definitely see this social guy enjoying outdoor bars and restaurants. He is around 3 yrs old, 60 lbs and is most likely a Bully mix. He is very friendly, the type of guy that’s never met a stranger. Walks into new environments like he owns them. Has been fostered with other dogs as well as cats. He is a wonderful blend of play and chill and while he does need to polish up his leash skills he is definitely a type that won’t mind you going to work after a walk, just leave the TV on for him. Housebroken, crates well and is fully vetted. #hmrjordan in Warrenton, VA. But transport available. https://form.jotform.com/hailmaryrescue/hail-mary-rescue-adoption-applicati

This laid-back pup may look like he'd rather be left alone, but don't be fooled - Eeyore enjoys the company of people, in his own special way. He's a master of two things: eating (he's a foodie at heart!) and napping (he's got the perfect technique). Eeyore's a bit aloof, but that's just part of his charm. He's a gentle soul who'll appreciate a patient and loving home. No adopters yet? No worries, Eeyore's happy to wait for the perfect match. Currently, Eeyore's focusing on his health and getting ready for a forever home. Eeyore is ready to find his people! If you're looking for a low-key buddy who'll appreciate a chill lifestyle, Eeyore might be the one. Stay tuned for updates on this little dinosaur's journey!" Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application HEADLINER : Lively, Lovely, LaLa, aka Lala-palooza, Lala-pop! PERSONALITY : It's hard to believe that Lala hasn't been snapped up as yet. She's smart and loves everyone she meets. This energetic girl loves fresh veggies, fruit, ice cubes and a vigorous "butt scratch." Have you ever had that friend or relative that overstays their welcome? You know you have. Do not despair as there is a solution. Lala definitely has the bulldog "toots" that are guaranteed to clear out a room (or unwanted guests). Just remember to "breathe through your mouth". :) If you're looking for a dog with the personality of a potato, Lala is not the dog for you; lazy is not in Lala's DNA. If you want a hiking or running companion or a dog (with training) that would excel in lure coursing, agility, fly ball or any other high energy sport, Lala's your girl. Ahhh, if only there were a way to harness all that energy. FAVORITE ACTIVITIES : Lala is a high energy pup that loves to fetch... though she hasn't quite grasped the idea of releasing yet, she is working on it. Lala is a pup that never passes up the opportunity for a good game of tug of war. MEDICAL ISSUES : None. WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST KIND OF HOME : Lala would do best in an active home with a fenced yard where she can run around to her heart’s content and burn some of that high energy off. Lala can quite play rough with other dogs. A home where she the only dog soaking up the attention or a home with another large male dog that matches her energy would be best. Kids older than 12 would be best as Lala may knock a smaller child down. Lala would greatly benefit from positive reinforcement obedience classes. Though Lala loves to go for a ride, she does get car sick so best not to feed her before she hops in the car. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application Chugger is great boy. He is 100% Staffordshire Bull Terrier but is a dwarf with really bad hip displasia. He can only do 1 step and needs non slip floors. He has his own ramp to get up on the sofa. He is crate trained but has done great being left out when his foster is not home. He is on special food. He weighs about 54 lbs. He only goes outside to potty but “walks” are limited to a 5 minute lap around the perimeter of the house due to his weak legs. He is also pretty deaf. Not fully, but pretty severe. He is low maintenance. He sleeps a lot and plays with toys. Chugger likes company but is not a Velcro dog. He is not a fan of the snow/cold. He will need to be leashed to get him to go outside long enough to do his business. Otherwise he pees and runs for the door. He can do a couple of steps to get in the front door but does not do stairs at all. He doesn’t bark much at all. He met another small female dog and was non-reactive and had zero interest in her.  Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our fees and donations pay for the costs of rescuing dogs. Any inside steps to which the dog(s) have access, must have carpeting, securely fixed stair treads, or a non-skid surface. We encourage you to remediate potential safety issues while your application is under review, prior to the home visit. Methods or devices using pain or force on the dog to control the dog, or to deter undesirable behavior is prohibited. Applications for giant breed dogs must be submitted by the property owner. Homes with children under 6 years of age will not be approved for adoption. Homes with children should have a fenced yard. Meet Bojangles! This loving bully mix is just five months old and already the happy go lucky kind of dog that people dream of having. While adventuring and floating on the river are his favorite activities so far, this fella is also down for playing with other dogs. Despite his adventurous nature, Bojangles will also settle well in a crate and is totally up for snuggling with his person. If this sounds like the pup for you, please complete an application at https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Transports leave every week alternating between the NE and the Great Lakes. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.
