Sandy's Story 🐾 Meet Sandy, a sweet 7-year-old dog, adopted at 6 months old. She is incredibly friendly with people and loves greeting guests politely without jumping. She is also wonderful with other pets, currently living peacefully with two cats. Sandy is very well-behaved, non-destructive, and obedient; she respects house rules. She doesn't sleep in bed. Special Needs: Sandy is fearful of bad weather. Thunderstorms cause her anxiety, making her tremble and hide in the closet. She used to scratch walls when panicked, though she hasn't done it lately. Ideal Home: A patient, loving family looking for a gentle companion, ready to offer her comfort and a safe space during storms. Adjectives: Friendly, Obedient, Gentle, Non-destructive, Timid (storms).

Story
Chester has had it rough being the longest resident at Animal Services through no fault of his own. He is 6 and no one wanted him. But Chester is 75lbs of love If you love a dog with a great big head that you can cradle in your hands, Chester is the one for you.. Chester is great with children and knows to be gentle with them.He also loves car rides and is ready to adventure whenever you are! Chester is very smart and is currently in training for leash manners, stay, and recall. Chester is a loyal, playful soul. He does not get along with cats and can be dog selective, so he should be the only dog in the home. Chester is neutered, has all shots, is microchipped. Chester has also never had an accident in the house! Chesters adoption fee has been sponsored, so save your money for treats! He also comes with his next 6 months of heartworm prevention. Schedule a meet and greet and you won't be disappointed. He wants to be your bestie!

Story
Jack is a very sweet dog. We got him from a family that are going to have a baby so they didn't want to keep him. We already have two dogs and had lost our third dog two years ago. We decided we wanted to add to our dog family and adopted him. Unfortunately he and one of our other dogs don't get along. He gets along great with the other dog. He was in a single dog home previously and would probably be better off in a home without other dogs. As far as people he is submissive and sweet as can be. He is fully house trained and listens well. A dream dog really for the right person. We are heartbroken but we feel it would be best to find him another home.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application PEBBLES- Our miracle baby Pebbles is a Pit Bull / Shar-Pei Mix (Pitpei). She is 14 months old and weighs 35 lbs. She is truly a survivor and is an amazing pup. Personality: Pebbles is a sweet, loving girl with a playful puppy spirit! She can be cautious when meeting new dogs at first, but once she warms up, she absolutely loves to romp and play. She doesn’t quite realize her size and enthusiasm can be a bit much for smaller dogs—but it’s all in fun! She loves kids of all ages, but again with her size she probably would do best with older kids. Pebbles loves her humans deeply and may act protective when strangers approach… even though she’s secretly afraid of her own shadow Background: Pebbles had a very rough start in life and did not receive proper vet care early on. Sadly, her siblings did not survive, but Pebbles is a true survivor who beat the odds. Although as a puppy, she was given a very small chance of surviving, every single day she thrived more and more. She never gave up and neither did we!!! After a year in foster care, she’s now ready for the amazing life she deserves. Energy Level: High – adventurous, playful, and loves exploring! Although she loves to run around and play, she also thrives hanging on the couch with her head in your lap, snoring happily. Special Needs / Health: Pebbles is listed as special needs due to a neurological-related eating issue. She does great but needs to be monitored and fed smaller food. She is a bit of an overeater, so food needs to be limited or she will eat until she is ready to bust. She has been seen through her young life by several Veterinarians, including a specialist. The testing ruled out issues with her esophagus, and the final diagnosis was more of a neurological-related eating issue. This does not slow her down, nor affect her quality of life and is manageable. Ideal Home: A loving home where she gets plenty of attention and isn’t left alone for long periods. She’ll thrive with an active family ready to give her love and structure. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 20, 2026, 2:38 pm
