Story
Sheba is a pit mix who we rescued about a year ago from being chained up in someone’s backyard, used to breed, and then as a bait dog. She is around 5yrs old and has so much love to give. She is skiddish at first but once she gets to know you she won’t leave your side. She gets along best with females and children. Her abuser was a male so she has issues warming up to men. A behavioral therapist is always a good option to have if she doesn’t warm up to your male companion. Sheba listens and loves to cuddle. She likes to play fetch but as of right now with her heart-worms she is unable to run or play for long periods of time. She is currently on month 10 of the slow kill method for her heart-worm, this can take up to 18 months to clear. Her right hind leg was injured by the abuser and healed improperly so she doesn’t use it much. She has hip displacia in both hips, since her injured leg doesn’t bother her no amputation is needed. Sheba has a huge heart, lots of kisses, and will love you

Jessie is being fostered in FL Jessie is doing great! He continues to be very sweet and gentle, and whenever his foster mom walks him, the neighborhood children love to come over and pet him. And if he hears people talking, he'll come over to say hello! Jessie also thinks he's part cat! His foster mom says he makes a noise like he's purring when she pets him. :) Please fill out an adoption application if you are interested in Jessie. Story
We adopted Baloo when he was 6 months old from the pound. He had been flown in from another country (never told us which one). He’s a cuddle bug, very sweet and loving. Loves to be around you nonstop. He’s always gotten good grades at doggy schools and never fights with other dogs. Our issue with Baloo started when we moved in with my sister in 2020 and noticed he seemed nervous around children. We didn’t have any of our own so we thought we could train it out of him. We would bark, growl, and launch toward them. So we had to always be around. Fast forward a couple years and we are in our own home and have had our own child. Everything was fine until our baby started moving on his own. Then suddenly Baloo didn’t like him. The issue seems to stem from toys. He’s launched at our son only when he had toys in his hand so we believe that’s where the fear stems. However he’s done this multiple times, with teeth out, that we fear for our son’s safety. Otherwise he’s the sweetest dog.

Hydro is almost 11 months old. I had him since he was 8 weeks old in Ocoee FL. I've had multiple heart surgeries since I had him and can no longer take care of him. He is a very loving dog. Very active. Loves to play with other dogs. He loves to be petted and his stomach rubbed. Potty trained. Sits and lays down and stays most of the time when told. Needs a little more training for walking on leash. Looking for a new home for him to finish training and loving him.

Story
Meet Tarzan!  He is about 7 months old.  He was found as a stray with an old injury to his hips/back end.  This injury was most likely caused by being hit by a car as a very young puppy and it did not heal properly.  With therapy and exercise he has strengthened his leg muscles and he runs and plays a walks just fine.  He does have a funny gait but that does NOT stop him!  Tarzan is great with cats and dogs and loves everyone he meets.  He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heart worm negative.  Adoption fee and contract required.Email californianoodles@gmail.com  ##2000049##

Meet Clover!  She is is about 10 months old and is about as cute as they get!  Clover is a small 32 pound pocket sized American Bully and she wound up at Animal Control with no signs of ownership.  She is partly blind in one eye and has partial hearing but this does not stop her from being a normal and playful pup.  She is good with other dogs but plays rough so no small dogs  for her.  Clover is fantastic with cats and kids and she will sleep quietly in bed with you all night long.  She is the BEST bed-buddy!!  She is working on the whole house breaking thing and is catching on fairly well.  Clover is vaccinated, heat worm negative, microchipped, and spayed.  Adoption fee and contract required. Meet Biscotti!  Have you always wanted a Mastiff but couldn't have a giant dog??? Well the Biscotti is the dog for you!!  She is a 2 year old medium sized Mastiff mix.  Biscotti is very smart and knows commands like sit, paw, lay down, and stay.  She listens very well to direction and correction.  Biscotti is good with cats and most dogs, she is alpha and does best with dogs that are submissive or would be best as the only dog.   She is great with all people and kids and seems house broken .  She does well in a crate.  Biscotti is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heart worm negative.  Adoption fee and contract required.  Email californianoodles@gmail.com  ##2021786##
