Story
Gator is a pitbull around 5/6 years old. We adopted him from AWL about 2 years ago. He loves walks, cuddles, sunbathing, toys (fav color seems to be blue), & treats. He gives the best hugs! He’s a happy boy whose tail wags every time you look at him. Once even wagging it so hard he sprang it! He unfortunately has had multiple episodes of aggression. He's gotten into 4 dog fights, including with another dog in our household, & ended up biting me when I had to pull the 2 dogs apart in the most recent fight. He resource guards his food & toys. For these reasons I feel he’d do better in a house where he is the only pet. Our main concern is 2 incidents where he has growled at small children. We have a baby in the NICU coming home soon & fear for his safety. The decision to rehome Gator is the most difficult one I’ve ever made. We love him so much and want so badly for him to end up with good people. I think he would be an excellent pet for a couple without other animals or young children.

Melissa is one bundle of excitement. She loves to work for treats. Her zoomies go on and on and she can fly about three feet in the air on top of a platform. She loves her peanut butter bones on her down time. Melissa wants to be affectionate but she doesn't know how so she will need a patient person to earn her trust.

Story
This handsome 3 year old boy. A survivor from the shelter’s euthanasia list!!! He loves to play whether it’s with a ball or a squeaky toy. And not to mention he’s a teddy bear inside a dogs body who just wants to hang out with a human. When not playing, he loves to snuggle and watch tv with you. He’s neutered and UTD on his shots. I don’t really know about his past life and how he ended up at the shelter but he certainly is deserving of a furever home.

Story
Chance was found abandoned at a home in East Coast, FL. He is about 7 years old. The owner moved out, leaving him behind and when new tenants moved in, he kept coming in the house. Chance was picked up by a rescue in that area and transferred to us. His name is Chance because we feel like he needs a chance at an amazing life. Chance is currently enrolled in Alpha Basic Training for Dogs and Humans in Englewood, Florida and passing with flying colors. The trainers have fallen in love with him and will give their training support for life for Chance. He is between 60-65 pounds, about two years old, crate and house trained, knows all his commands, and he's just a great well rounded dog. Chance would do best with older children in the home because of his size and energy.

Story
Bella the Beautiful! This girl is estimated to be about 3 years old, was found as a stray on the streets of Miami. A good Samaritan brought her to the shelter only to find herself on death row at the Miami Dade Animal Shelter. We saved her life and enrolled her in a training program where she passed with flying colors. She's very energetic, loves to play with everyone, and just a super sweet girl. Would do well with an active family and a fenced in yard.
