Gracie is an absolute doll of a dog, sweet and gracious with her doggy friends, warm and welcoming with us humans, and a total ham for affection. Her foster mom says the best thing about Gracie is that she is such a brave girl, despite what may have happened before she came to us. She is an amazingly sweet and gentle. We think that Gracie may be an Pittie, Staffie mix, but she is a rescue, so these are just are best guesses. She’s estimated to be around 3 years old, and currently weighs in around 55 pounds. Gracie is also a huge fan of the pool, and loves to get in the hot tub. Gracie is allowed to free roam because of how respectful she is. She is fully potty trained too! She’s a little spoiled, and accustomed to being the princess of the house. Gracie is a social butterfly with people, she is immediately ready for love and affection the moment she meets a new friend. She’s a super affectionate lap dog, ready to love you. Gracie has been around kids, and even lives with a 10 year old in her foster home! She was also great with Kobe, who is just 4 years old. She took treats gently, did not knock him over, and did not smoother him in kisses. She was respectful and polite, and seemingly aware of his smaller size! This leads us to believe she would make an amazing family dog. She loves treats too. She’s learning her leash skills, and doing great, with a little more polishing she’ll be a perfect walking companion. Gracie is currently fostered in a home with her loving foster mom, small dogs, medium dogs, and big dogs. She does great with everyone! She’s stable with other dogs, though she can be a bit eager to play. She’s exceptionally tolerant of other dogs’ antics, and always so sweet with other dogs. Her foster mom takes her on little play dates with other foster dogs in the area, and Gracie loves the extra play time that entails. Gracie’s playstyle with other dogs is bouncy and joyful, almost puppyish. Her favorite game is good ole fashioned tug-of-war. Another adorable tidbit about this girl is that she has the cutest little bunny hops that make her ears flop in the breeze. We think Gracie would do best in a home with a low to medium energy dog, to save her from playing all day every day. Lunch dates at patio cafes, late nights watching live music, daytime park hangs- Gracie is ready, willing and available. She’s a total adventure dog! She loves the car, though her short legs will sometimes require a boost. She’s so friendly with everyone that bringing her out and about is a breeze. She’s just happy to hang out. Her foster mom takes her to restaurants and parks with regularity! Gracie could thrive as a solo-dog, or as a member of your pack. She has been around our house cat, Biggie. Although she was fine with him, we do not recommend Gracie to live in a home with kitties! She was a little too excited to be around him and with her big size, we do not think it would be best for her. She will be fine for walks outside if she sees a stray, so do not fear! Meet Maddox! The solid white pittie goofball boy who loves toys, toys, and more toys! If you’ve been looking for a boy to add excitement and fun to your life, then you have found him! We believe Maddox is a pittie mix, who is about 2 years old and weighs approximately 50 pounds. Due to him being a rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed. He loves to play the day away! If you give him a toy and a treat, that boy is in hog heaven! When he met some of the dogs on property, all he wanted was to get them to have fun with him! He especially bonded with Aurora, a medium energy, but playful, female! They were zooming on and off the couch and having the best time! He is dog friendly and would do great in a home with a dog similar to Aurora. He would be the best playmate to another dog who knows when it’s time to play and when it’s time to rest. Maddox has the makings of being a very good doggy brother! Maddox is such a fun boy and wants everyone to be as happy as him! Even cats! LOL. Due to his love for life and playing around, it would be best if he was in a home without kitty friends! They might not appreciate his enthusiasm, haha. As far as children go, he has a lot of joy in that stout little body and loves a good game of tug of war! We haven't seen him with smaller children, but would recommend that he is in a home with older kids that can keep up with his fun-side. Black and white, and wants to sleep in your bed at night… meet Gracie! Gracie is an absolute doll of a dog, sweet and gracious with her doggy friends, warm and welcoming with us humans, and a total ham for affection. Her foster mom says the best thing about Gracie is that she is such a brave girl, despite what may have happened before she came to us. She is an amazingly sweet and gentle. She loves to cuddle and play! Speaking of play, be sure to bring Gracies favorite toy-- her ball! She is a fetch superstar! We think that Gracie may be an Pittie, Staffie mix, but she is a rescue, so these are just are best guesses. She’s estimated to be around 3 years old, and currently weighs in around 55 pounds. Gracie is also a huge fan of the pool, and loves to get in the hot tub. Gracie is allowed to free roam because of how respectful she is. She is fully potty trained too! She’s a little spoiled, and accustomed to being the princess of the house. Gracie is a social butterfly with people, she is immediately ready for love and affection the moment she meets a new friend. She’s a super affectionate lap dog, ready to love you. Gracie has been around kids, and even lives with a 10 year old in her foster home! She was also great with Kobe, who is just 4 years old. She took treats gently, did not knock him over, and did not smoother him in kisses. She was respectful and polite, and seemingly aware of his smaller size! This leads us to believe she would make an amazing family dog. She loves treats too. She’s learning her leash skills, and doing great, with a little more polishing she’ll be a perfect walking companion. Gracie is currently fostered in a home with her loving foster mom, small dogs, medium dogs, and big dogs. She does great with everyone! She’s stable with other dogs, though she can be a bit eager to play. She’s exceptionally tolerant of other dogs’ antics, and always so sweet with other dogs. Her foster mom takes her on little play dates with other foster dogs in the area, and Gracie loves the extra play time that entails. Gracie’s playstyle with other dogs is bouncy and joyful, almost puppyish. Her favorite game is good ole fashioned tug-of-war. Another adorable tidbit about this girl is that she has the cutest little bunny hops that make her ears flop in the breeze. We think Gracie would do best in a home with a low to medium energy dog, to save her from playing all day every day. Lunch dates at patio cafes, late nights watching live music, daytime park hangs- Gracie is ready, willing and available. She’s a total adventure dog! She loves the car, though her short legs will sometimes require a boost. She’s so friendly with everyone that bringing her out and about is a breeze. She’s just happy to hang out. Her foster mom takes her to restaurants and parks with regularity! Gracie could thrive as a solo-dog, or as a member of your pack. She has been around our house cat, Biggie. Although she was fine with him, we do not recommend Gracie to live in a home with kitties! She was a little too excited to be around him and with her big size, we do not think it would be best for her. She will be fine for walks outside if she sees a stray, so do not fear! He and his nine siblings have been in our care since they were tiny pups, so Hank has been loved and wonderfully socialized. He's an easy pup with no hang-ups who just wants to play, eat, explore, and snooze! Hank is fully house trained. He sleeps in a crate in a room with his foster person and three foster siblings (dogs ranging from 25 lbs to 60 lbs). He's happiest when he's surrounded by his pals, and would love to find a forever home with other pets. Always eager for fun, Hank's favorite activities are wrestling with his foster siblings, chasing them, or being chased! He also loves to frolic in the kiddie pool, delighted by his own splashes. When he's done playing, Hank entertains himself with toys. Stuffies, bones, balls, crinkle toys, chewies… you name it, Hank wants it! Meet Countess! She is currently 3 1/2 months old, and we think she may be a Pit Bull / labrador Retriever mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Meet Maddox! The solid white pittie goofball boy who loves toys, toys, and more toys! If you’ve been looking for a boy to add excitement and fun to your life, then you have found him! We believe Maddox is a pittie mix, who is about 2 years old and weighs approximately 50 pounds. Due to him being a rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed. He loves to play the day away! If you give him a toy and a treat, that boy is in hog heaven! When he met some of the dogs on property, all he wanted was to get them to have fun with him! He especially bonded with Aurora, a medium energy, but playful, female! They were zooming on and off the couch and having the best time! He is dog friendly and would do great in a home with a dog similar to Aurora. He would be the best playmate to another dog who knows when it’s time to play and when it’s time to rest. Maddox has the makings of being a very good doggy brother! Maddox is such a fun boy and wants everyone to be as happy as him! Even cats! LOL. Due to his love for life and playing around, it would be best if he was in a home without kitty friends! They might not appreciate his enthusiasm, haha. As far as children go, he has a lot of joy in that stout little body and loves a good game of tug of war! We haven't seen him with smaller children, but would recommend that he is in a home with older kids that can keep up with his fun-side. Maddox could do well in a home with a yard or in an apartment with an owner who is dedicated to providing him with the daily exercise that he needs. He is mindful and quiet in his crate and only starts to talk a bit if other dogs are walking by. He also would be a great guy to take with you hiking and exploring the great outdoors. She is loyal, gentle, wise beyond her years, and she's the kind of dog who seems to know what you need before you do. Whether that's curling up next to you after a long day at work or being that nurturing loving presence to your kids. Mya is always there. She's the nanny dog of every family's dream too and loves being a family dog. She watches over the little ones, soothes them with a soft nudge or kiss, and places herself beautifully right between chaos and calm. She the kind of dog that counts heads before settling in for a nap, who knows the sound of a baby's cry before you do, and who's always there to be a listening ear for those sweet baby talks. She's not just a dog, she's YOUR heart dog and YOUR kids heart dog. We can promise you that Mya is the sweetest little angel. Mya currently shares her home with a family that has small children, and she ADORES them! The tiny humans she is currently fostered with are ages 6, 3, and 3 months. She is so incredibly gentle and loves being on the receiving end of their kisses, hugs, and giggles galore! She even lets them dress her in cute little outfits! Mya also extends her love and gentleness even towards other children as well. When other kids come over or when she sees other kids out on their walks she is just as loving with them as she is to the ones she is fostered with. She is probably the closest definition to an actual nanny dog. How she is with kids, really is the sweetest thing ever. Mya is even great to take on family walks throughout the neighborhood or local park. She is so easy to walk on a leash and rarely ever pulls. She is so easy that even the 6 year old is able to walk her. Mya also has no issues walking side by side to a stroller as well nor does she ever get in the way of the stroller. Mya also peacefully shares her home with cats and another pup, but she would much prefer to be the princess of her castle and soak up all the love for herself. Nothing short of what she absolutely deserves! That being said, the right family with the right dog and/or cat, could be a possibility. She is the perfect companion for a family that has slowed down a bit, or who prefer the quiet life of couch snuggling and binge watching marathons. Cherie rides well in the car, and is fully house and crate trained! Though she may protest just a little because her favorite thing is to be out with her people! Mya's dream home would have a backyard out in the suburbs away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Not that she minds the loud noises or the crowds of city life, she just a relaxed and calm lady we think would prefer living in a residential neighborhood and would probably love her own yard to sunbathe in on those warm spring and summer days. She also gets excited and does these adorable little jumps to go outside too which is another reason why we prefer to see her go to a home with a yard. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. *Fostered in Lowell, MA* Tootsie Pop is sweeter than her namesake and twice as cute! We believe Tootsie is a Black Lab, Boxer mix, though she is a rescue so these are simply our best guesses. Tootsie is estimated to be around a year old and weighs in at a slight 48 pounds, the perfect size for lap sitting. She loves toys, other dogs, people, and the pool! Her love of water must be from those black lab genes we see! Tootsie goes on daily walks with ease thanks to her amazing leash skills. Sweet Tootsie is nothing short of an all around good girl, and we can’t help but fall hard for her. You will too! She does well with everyone in the house- playful with the pups that wish to play, and respectful and kind toward the grumpier, older pups that wish for peace. Here at the rescue, she did wonderfully with the other dogs she met. Her joyful energy even got a rarely playful long-stay-rescue-dog to play chase with her! In her forever home, we think a goofy male would be the best doggy-sibling match for her. Her foster mom brags that she is crate trained and seems to be fully potty trained- she does not have accidents indoors. She does well in her crate and will go in for a little treat! Tootsie is super smart, she knows “sit” and she’s picking up on leash training quickly. She will need a confident leash walking human to teach her the ropes, she’s new to the whole “well loved dog” thing, but eager and excited to learn. A huge fan of the finer things in life, Tootsie loves all kinds of toys, no matter the shape size or color! Nylabones, stuffies, chews- you name it! She is a tug-of-war queen, as she should! As if she couldn’t get any better, she even shares her toys well with the other dogs in the home too. “Sharing is caring!” Says tootsie! While we haven’t seen Tootsie with kids just yet, we think she would be an amazing family dog for a home with kids 10+. She loves going places with her foster family, and has met kids at events and done well with them. From the moment you meet her, Tootsie is such a warm and friendly pup with so much love to give. She is so confident in new places, and always ready for the next adventure- now she’s ready for her forever home. We think Tootsie would do best in a house over an apartment. We believe she would enjoy a more active family that will take her places and spend time with her. We don’t recommend her for a home with kitties. Ladies, do you want a reason to need to keep your nails done? Meet Cedric, he melts for back scratches and practically has an out of body experience if the one giving the scratches has strong, healthy nails. He may not be able to pay for them but he will always admire and appreciate them. In return for the backcscrathes he has snuggles, sweet kisses, and short walks to offer. He currently weighs 44 lbs and we expect he will settle in just shy of 50 lbs. Given he is a rescue breed and age are details we cannot guarantee but you can take a survey on breed guesses, you will get a lot of bulldog responses and not from just looks alone. His charming personality gives us so many classic bulldog qualities, from his easy-going, unbothered nature to his approach to urgency- there is none. It would be best to rely on him for couch cuddles, giggle-inducing entertainment, and a few new friends (he attracts people like a magnet.) Cedric isn’t pushy about meeting passers by but he is albsolutely welcoming when they want to stop and say hi to him. We love the balance of “never met a stranger” but not overwhelmingly out-going. Basically, he plays it cool. An ideal home for Cedric would be one where his chill nature is embraced! Dogs are welcome but he could easily and happily be an only-dog. Anytime he has been introduced to new dogs or invited into the yard to play, he is polite and aloof. More of a companion than a playmate. Despite that we do think he would be best in a home with a yard, he really enjoys sauntering around the yard and its pretty cute to watch. This likely won’t come as a shock but its worth saying- Cedric is not interested in long, outdoor adventures, he considers himself the indoors-type. You understand. Kids are welcome in Cedrics world, he loves mini-people and they think he is pretty cute.
