Story
MEET SKY Sky is a sweet and tiny Labrador blend. She is approximately 2 years old, weighs 41 lbs and is ready to find her “furever” home. Sky is a huge love bug, but does have some stranger danger when she first meets people. Slow intros are a must for her to have the confidence that she is safe. She was abused by one of her former owners and is loving the safety and security she is feeling in her foster home. She just needs a family that will show her how much they love her, and she’ll 100% reciprocate that love. She is eager to please and loves to be where you are. She needs some work on her manners, but she does listen really well and knows basic commands. Working on crate training and she is potty trained. She would thrive in a home that has another playful dog her size or larger. Has done well with the cats in the home and smaller dogs but can be a little rough in play with them. She has not been around smaller children, that we are aware of, so a home with kids 10+ would be best. Sky does have food aggression and will need to be fed separately from other dogs, and also treat time. If you are interested in this sweet girl please send PAWS Rescue inc a message. Her adoption fee is $300 and includes her vaccines, spay, dewormers and microchip. Thank you to Kate and Dave Bridges for opening your heart and home to Sky.💕 Photo Credit:Traci B Photography

*AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY* Meet Remy! A face everyone can LOVE! Literally, it is soooo squishy and then that smile. Can you already tell we are a little bit obsessed?! Smart, potty trained, crate trained, dog friendly, INSANELY cuddly and squishy! Remy is truly a special boy!! He shares, he basks, he rolls, he strolls, he sleeps, and he snores lol Every person at the Rescue has loved this boy. He has spent many hours with staff, volunteers, and his former foster mama. He has easily made us fall in love with him. We know you will too after watching his videos and learning more about him! You can see all of this in his adoption movie! https://youtu.be/S9ytDSfe-C4 Watch his gentle play style with his foster brother here: https://youtu.be/YOjcR4K8-M0?si=xVhITLrH7OuDHNiD Watch his gentle demeanor and energy level in a home here: https://youtu.be/bgT33dkmhEg?si=M1N26X7J0feVtRRp Remy is a ladies man but enjoys his male humans too! He just needs slow introductions and time to warm up. He needs time to slowly check them out then he’ll be your BFF and instant playmate. This boy is truly a loyal king. Once he earns your trust he will be your BFF FOREVER! This big hunk of love would do best in a home with no cats. He was a little too interested in the cats at his last foster home and tried to chase them. He was only trying to incite play and looking to have some fun! He has learned to sit and stay! He loves to play fetch and his favorite toy is anything that squeaks. He has learned to potty in the same place in the yard each time at his foster moms house. He is very treat motivated so continued training should be a piece of cake! He’s such a smart boy! He doesn’t jump and has a soft mouth. Saint Remy does great on a leash and would love to accompany his new person/family on walks and hikes. He also rides well in the car. He sits, lays, or watches out the window. At times he gets up and sneaks up for a kiss. He would love a fenced in yard where he can roam and fetch a ball! Even if it’s just him tossing the ball to himself! We believe Remy would do well in a home with another dog that matches his energy but he can certainly be the center of attention and the only dog. He has lived with large males both playful and more calm. He loves to romp around and share his toys. He has always been the submissive one of the bunch. He isn’t a vocal boy so living in a condo/townhome environment would be fine as long as he receives plenty of toys and gets that much needed time to bask in the sun and daily walks (more like strolls). With a smile that sometimes gets her lip stuck on her teeth (adorable, right?), Beth Marie is just herself – and that's perfection! She is the ultimate house hippo. She is very laid-back and so easy to have around. She's a toy enthusiast who can entertain herself without needing to be confined at home. Trustworthy and well-mannered, Beth Marie is a breeze to have around. She's confident, carefree, and joyful, making her the perfect companion for any family. Plus, she's potty trained, crate trained, and great with kids! Beth Marie is a social butterfly who loves people to bits. Her tail never stops wagging, especially when you talk to her. A true best friend kind of dog, she rides in the car like a human, enjoying the scenery, and behaves impeccably in public. Ultimate paradise for Beth Marie? Snuggling up on the couch with you. She's not in your face but will happily lay across your lap or snuggle up next to you. With gentle kisses and a heart full of love, she'll adore having a relationship with you. Beth Marie is also great with kids, as proven by her relaxed demeanor around a three- and five-year-old. She's content to hang out while they have a tea party or join in the fun. Here’s her personality: https://youtu.be/eKJUq5vyGaQ?si=59-mtl7r25zUuXpw Watch another video here: https://youtu.be/gFRkX0aM6XI One of Beth Marie’s most admirable qualities is her ease on the leash. Taking her for a walk is a breeze, as she gracefully glides alongside you. She's a dog-friendly gal but would thrive as your one and only pet. At about 4 years old and 70lbs, Beth Marie's beautiful green eyes and perpetual smile will capture your heart. While she loves her crate, she's also happy curling up on the couch behind all the pillows. Beth Marie is not destructive and can be left alone during the day, making her the perfect furry companion for any loving home! 🏡❤️ Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/646fc5bd9f1b3a49ec0640f7 Please email Leah.Smith@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. Story
Oreo is a 45 lbs sweet Oreo pie pup! WELL not only looks like one, he is just as sweet! This boy loves his human and will stick right by your side. He does great in his crate, he is so happy to see you and does a tap dance with joy, he loves all dogs and fits in well with a pack, and he makes an awesome family companion. He is an almost 3 year old rescue boy who is looking for a family to make his life complete. Oreo is good inside a home and loves the yard. He is great around other dogs both BIG and small. He currently lives with 5 other dogs, ranging from 20-55 lbs. He is a little more reserved when first meeting new dogs, but he warms up well to playful, inviting dogs. Though he can sometimes be a little timid meeting new people, he very quickly adapts. He is in a busy and fun family household with a young energetic hooman girl, a teenage boy, and a wonderful foster furmom and furdad that love him very much. He is very loyal and affectionate! He lays at your feet touching you or will cozy up on the couch if you will allow. Oreo is building confidence with each passing day. His foster family want to help him be the best pup that he can be for his adoptive family, and reassure him that he is safe and welcome to explore and learn his way around the home on his own time and terms, while balancing it all with a structured crate routine. He has done so well. The entire family is very proud of how well he has fit into their home. Oreo is very smart and obedient too. He loves to listen to his person and show off his skills. He knows the commands sit and stay. Oreo uses a gentle leader when out on walks. Don't worry we can even show you how to use one and include one in his adoption for you! Oreo's a pro at this leash too! Meet Oreo here: https://youtu.be/YRj2XuYQwj0 He loves taking long walks and he plays great with people too! When Oreo sees you he will hop around and get really excited. He almost wears a smile on his face! Oreo is crate and potty trained and uses a dog door! He doesn't mind his foster has to work a regular work day because he will just hang out and wait for her to come home. We are willing to test Oreo with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. **Fostered in Hillsboro, OR and ready for meet & greets!** See more photos and videos on Instagram @PDX_Adoptables Weighing about 45 lbs and boasting a stunning blond and white coat that is the softest you’ve ever felt, Goldie is as beautiful as she is loving. This adorable and sweet 11 month old girl is ready to steal your heart with her endless devotion and irresistible charm! Goldie has the perfect energy level for a family dog. In her foster home, we work from home all day. She gets breakfast in the morning, about 15 minutes of fetch or chase in the yard, then lays at our feet for the next 2-3 hours while we work. If she gets bored, she will get up and play with her toys, or chew on a bone, all by herself. She loves to go in and out of the house as she pleases. We will often see her sunbathing outside in the grass for hours. At lunch we take her for a walk, or do a little fetch or chase in the yard. We do give her pets and kisses whenever she asks for them (about 4-5 times through the workday), but otherwise she just hangs out. We only take her on one walk a day, and sometimes not even that. She never complains, or gets destructive, or bored. After dinner, she just naps until bedtime. She’s a quiet girl who doesn’t bark, only whines a little bit here and there. Goldie recently passed her Camp Bow Wow interview and is now a doggy daycare girl. She does excellent at daycare and all the dogs and staff just love her. She is so versatile and can make either a great office buddy, or have a blast at daycare. She loves playing with the kids in the home. She did jump up on the little one at first, but she is quickly learning that it’s rude. Now she mostly just covers him in a million kisses. She’s never mouthy or nippy like most puppies. If she jumps up on you, you just say “sit” and she will immediately sit and wait for reward of pets. Goldie is incredibly smart and has a great foundation in house manners. She has never had any potty accidents in our home, she is almost always quiet in her crate, she rarely counter or table surfs and corrects very quickly and easily, and she doesn’t bark at the neighbors barky dogs. She learns incredibly fast and could really thrive doing obedience training or even agility or sniff work. She takes treats so gently that even my 4 year old can give them to her and not worry about getting nipped. And when it comes to dinner time, she will sit patiently while you put her bowl down for her. One of our favorite things about Goldie is how she does a big bunny hop and pounce when she plays fetch. It is hilarious to watch and will bring you so much laughter and joy. You can see some of that in her videos here: https://youtu.be/vijNmZax79U And here: https://youtu.be/UNcJlkFULMI A social butterfly through and through, Goldie loves nothing more than meeting new people and making friends wherever she goes. Her affectionate nature and gentle demeanor win over hearts in no time. Her social skills extend to other dogs as well, making her a great playmate and companion for a doggy sibling (but no kitties please). Though she does pull a little on leash, a gentle leader or training collar can help her stay on track as she explores the world around her. She loves going on car rides, but she does have some anxiety once it starts moving. Riding in a crate seems to really give her the sense of security she needs. Goldie is pretty versatile and could live in just about any family or home. Since she’s quiet, she could live in an apartment if there are places like a dog park where she can get out her energy, but I know she would also love a home with a yard where she can sunbathe and zoomie whenever she wants. She could live with kids, or without. She could live with other confident dogs, or as an only dog. Story
***NEEDS FOSTER or FUREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise boarding kennels MOCHA has been in our rescue since early 2017 when she was a puppy. She truly deserves her own family. Hi, I'm MOCHA! I'm a 6-year-old female pittie wiggle butt that loves to snuggle with my people. I'm house trained and crate trained and treat-motivated to learn more. I used love to play with other dogs, but my foster daddy believes that I will be best in a home as the only pet. Unfortunately, there will be no cats in my future. I'm pretty good on leash, but still need reminders when my people say 'come'-treats will help. I'm still a little timid around strangers, so give them a few treats and let me warm up to them. I will never forget you once we bond. Did I tell you that I love my chewies? Because I take time to warm to new people, I will do best in a home without small kids and with a patient family. I'm already spayed and current on vaccines. I will be microchipped for my furever family. Because I have been without a family for so long, my adoption fee is only $100. Story
***NEEDS FUREVER HOME*** Currently in Twin Falls, ID Thanks to the patience of a dedicated foster family, we are learning more about 2 year old RUSTY while he heals from his physical, and likely emotional scars, from being dumped in a canyon to fend for himself. RUSTY is living with a family that includes five kids, youngest is 7 years old. He does great with the kids, but is starting to show some interest in the chickens. RUSTY is fully house-trained and does well in his crate (knows 'kennel up') RUSTY is super interested in what’s going on around him and enjoys looking out the window and following his people the house. He loves to snuggle up on the couch and will give you a million kisses while you love on him. RUSTY hates the snow/rain and it’s a little bit of a battle to get him to go out sometimes, but he does like being outside when it’s warm and sunny (typical pittie!). RUSTY shows no interest in escaping the yard. RUSTY does not show any resource guarding of his food, but gets a little impatient if you withhold his treats...What do you expect from a dog that went without food for so long on his own. The foster family is slowly increasing his food intake to help him gain some much-needed weight after his ordeal. RUSTY was not sure what a car ride included and showed some anxiety; however, he has figured out that they mean that he gets to go for walks which he loves. He will need some training for loose-leash walking. Doesn't RUSTY sound like a pawsome dog!?? MORE PHOTOS: https://photos.app.goo.gl/b2bmRhaM86bwMgNj7 Complete an easy, online adoption application to be first in line to meet RUSTY when is fully recovered from his injuries. He gets his drains out late next week. https://www.friendsfureveranimalrescue.com/dog-adoption-application BACKGROUND: This poor dog was dumped in a canyon to fend for himself. He was found emaciated with large wounds to his neck and abdomen. A Good Samaritan hiking Rock Creek Park walked him out of the area and immediately to Healing Hands Small Animal Emergency Hospital, Twin Falls. A dedicated foster opened up their home and hearts to this poor guy so that FFAR could rescue him.

🐾 Meet Laika! 🐾 Introducing Laika, the happiest, bounciest girl who instantly rolls over for belly rubs from anyone she meets. With her gentle and sometimes submissive nature, Laika is a joy to be around. At about 60 pounds and an estimated three years old, Laika might be a boxer-pit mix. What's undeniable is her love for life. Watch her adoption video here! She welcomes everyone like long-lost friends, eager to share her love and get some affection. Though she has shown a tendency to jump in her excitement, she responds well to correction and quickly calms down, making her a well-mannered house pet. Laika particularly loves playing with male dogs and truly enjoys their company! Her boundless energy is more apparent outside, where she has a medium to high energy level and eagerly chases lizards and rabbits whenever she can. She flourishes in an environment where she can run and play to her heart's content. Inside the house, she's a laid-back companion, content to lounge on the couch or a cozy bed, demonstrating that she can balance her spirit with a calm indoor demeanor. Currently fostered in Texas, Laika joyfully plays around the backyard. She gets along splendidly with her foster sibling and is completely potty trained, not chewing anything but her toys. While she has a high prey drive and may not be ready for the farmer's market due to her overstimulation, she's the perfect companion for someone with a secure yard who enjoys playful, energetic companionship. Laika loves children, offering gentle kisses and showing an incredible softness around them. Her manners are exemplary; she shares toys and food with her canine housemates and sits for treats. Laika has learned commands like 'sit,' 'high five,' and 'shake' and goes to her crate on cue. She relishes her training sessions, showing a sharp intellect and responsiveness, especially to treats and pets. Crate-trained and dog-friendly, Laika is a social butterfly in the making. She could be the only dog in a home but would also thrive with a pup companion to play with. Although she needs a strong handler during walks, especially when other animals are near, her love for the great outdoors and her adoration for comfy indoor cuddles are clear. Laika's cutest habit is carrying her affectionate title of "Licka Laika," generously bestowing kisses and cuddling on the couch. She can be vocal when she spots her reflection or sees animals outside, but she's become less so over time within the house. Ready to add a dose of joy to your life with a dog who's all about love and fun? Laika is an incredible family pet prepared to fill your life with happiness and countless cuddles. Take your chance to make Laika part of your family today. With the right guidance and patience, she's sure to be an exemplary companion. Apply to adopt Laika today and start the adventure with your new best friend! 🌟💖 Adoption profile & Application Link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/64527b0d85600cc36002ab01 Please email her coordinator with any questions: Leah.smith@threelittlepittiesrescue.org Available for adoption in TX, WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, CT, VT, NY, PA, OH and BC Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA, approximately 30 minutes from the Canadian border). MEET PADAMAY! Paddy is a stunning Boxer Blend that is ready for her “furever” home. At 2 years old and 75 pounds, she's not just a lap dog; she's a cuddle bug extraordinaire. She has previously resided with a Rottweiler foster sister and 4 other boxer x siblings. Paddy is a sweetheart who adores companionship. Sensitive to loud noises, Paddy isn't a fan of fireworks, gunshots, or other loud sounds. However, she's crate trained and finds solace there during such times. It's important to give her about a 3 weeks to decompress in her new environment, and introductions to new animals should be done gradually. Paddy thrives best with the company of a large, mellow dog. She's a dream on a leash and shows no interest in chasing squirrels, cats, or ducks. If you're interested in welcoming Paddy into your home, please reach out to PAWS Rescue inc.

Oh my heck this boy!! Xander Lane will for sure keep you on you toes in the absolute best way. He is goofy, loving, full of personality, and will always keep you entertained and laughing. He's the type of dog that doesn't even necessarily need to be doing anything, just existing and he'll still make you smile with the cute little expressions he makes. One of my favorite things about him is how happy he is all the time and of course the way his tongue peeps out of his mouth. He instantly makes us smile and we know he'll make you smile too. Watch his video here: https://youtu.be/MG2VrOkorno?si=lfTSvRujHmhikXsz Xander Lane is a pittie mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 46 lbs and is full grown. He is the perfect fun size, not too big and not too small. He is exceptionally dog friendly and loves to make doggy friends. He is best friends with an 80 lb male that is just as goofy as he is and they love playing together. He also met a massive cane corse who is triple he size and he wasn't intimated by him or anything. All he wanted to do was play with him and Xander even took a correction from the big guy for playing too rough and did beautiful with the correction. Xander would love to be adopted out to a family that has another dog that he can play with and romp around in the back yard with. He also would do best in a home with a backyard. He loves to be outside, rolling around in the grass and just living his good ole doggy best life. Xander is medium energy that will require exercise and mental stimulation. He's not a marathon runner nor will he require that much exercise but a good romp in the yard, short run in the neighborhood, and I'm sure would also make a great adventure companion in the mountains. He will need to polish his leash skill and learn some basic obedience manners but he is treat motivated and eager to please. Which will help make any additional training that much more enjoyable. To our knowledge, he is crate trained and potty trained but may need a reminder about where the appropriate potty places are once in his forever home. We are willing to test Xander Lane with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know.
