Story
Nova had had a hard life with being moved around A LOT! He is wonderful with kids and other animals, Nova will even let our cats beat him up all he wants to do is play & love. Nova has been with us about 7 months because of my wife's increase in seizures it's becoming where its too much to take him for walks and the things a good dog owner can do for him. This guy just wants to be your best friend. His commands are sit, Lay Down, Paw, Go Back & Outside. He loves hanging out in the snow when he can and loves to join the family anytime we are outside. I have a non verbal down syndrome son who nova gets along with greatly they are honestly best friends and i feel horrible t have to make this choice. It's just too much too handle anymore with other medial issues going on. Help find this guy forever home and some BEST Friends!!

Poptart is a very hyper and loving 2yr old girl. She loves everyone and cuddles every chance she gets. When overly excited, she forgets how strong she is and can be a little rough. She is easily trained and motivated by treats! She needs a home where she can be properly introduced to other dogs and with older children.

🐾 Meet Bug, the Heartthrob Hound! 💖🐕 Hey, pawsome pals! I'm Bug, a stunning fawn and white beauty, around 2 years old, and already living the spayed life. 🌸 With a muscular physique that's sure to turn heads, I'm not just a dog—I'm a canine superstar! ✨ Guess what? I've got the whole housebroken thing down, and I'm a social butterfly, getting along swimmingly with my fellow furry friends. 🐾 To make sure I stay the picture of health, my caretakers are making sure I'm up-to-date on vaccinations. It's a small effort for a lifetime of tail wags and cuddles! 🐶💕 Quick note: While the adoption fee covers lots of goodies, these extra measures (vaccinations) aren't included. So, my future family, get ready to invest in a lifetime of Bug love! 🌈🎁 For those ready to make me their Valentine, our email is on a little break, but fear not! Just give Animal Control a ring at 618-327-9471 or shoot a message on our Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100064739284772 Let's make this Valentine's Day unforgettable—adopt Bug, and let the love fest begin! 💘🐾 #AdoptBug #ValentinesPup #BugLoveBug

Story
Nina is a red nose pit and full of energy. She loves to play with balls, bones, sticks and will bring them back to chase again. She is good with kids, cats, and other dogs, just watch out she will try to licking you to death if allowed. She is very good natured and loves to run and play. She has been create trained and comes with her kennel along with food bowl, and 3 gallon water bowl. I hate to let her go but due to circumstances I have no choice other then to find her a good home so she can be happy and get the attention she deserves. I'm coming to a point that if I can not find her a home by the 25th of May, I will have no choice but to take her to a shelter which is something I really do not want to do. Nina is a very loving and full of energy but also a good girl.

Story
"I'm Jackson, a stately 8-year-old pup. Folks say I have the most enchanting eyes and a perpetual grin that lights up my graying face. My journey here started when a kind soul brought me to the Staunton PD, saying I was a stray. Hard to understand how this happened to me, but praying someone will take a shine to an old dog with lots to offer. My hobbies are commands like sit and down, and nothing brings me more joy than belly rubs! I'm a big fan of rolling on my back and showing off my playful side; it's my way of keeping things light and entertaining. I recently went to the groomer and did GREAT! I loved every minute of my spa day. Now, when it comes to other furry friends, I have to admit I'm not fond of those feline creatures. Otherwise.. I'm a gentle soul, great with kids, and always ready for some fun and love. If you're looking for a charming older gentleman with lots of love to give, please consider me: Jackson." ........... Please come meet this sweet soul soon! (We keep our posts up-to-date.) We do ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, on a first-come/first serve basis.
