Story
I have had Maggie since she was a puppy, my neighbor when I was growing up gave her to us when their dog gave birth. She is absolutely the most loving dog, she loves to cuddle, kiss, and play. She is great with kids and people, but not other dogs. She deserves a nice family, or anyone that can give her love!

Story
Hi I'm Peaches and I'm looking for my forever home! I came to PCH the middle of November with my 7 week old babies! They are all grown now and finding homes so now I would like to find my own!! I was pretty timid when I came to my foster home but now I know all my foster siblings and I have a great time playing with them! I am already house trained and am allowed to free room because they say I'm the perfect house guest! I know sit for a treat after potty time but I'm ready to learn new things . I would love to go for walks and adventures. I have a fenced yard now so I can do a lot of running and playing! I also like settling in with you for a good cuddle! Does that sound like I could be your girl!! Adoption fee is $299. All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heartworm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. If you are interested in this pet, please fill out the brief Adopter Survey by hitting "Apply for Adoption" on the profile. Counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents). After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and leash to pick up. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. Story
Hi there, future family! My name is Niko, and I'm an 1-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix with a whole lot of love and energy to share. I weigh about 65 pounds, and I'm as cute as can be! Let me tell you a bit about myself and why I might just be the perfect addition to your home. I'm a well-mannered boy who's housetrained—I even go to the door to let you know when it's time for a potty break. I'm great in my crate, which makes things a lot easier for you when you need some downtime. Exercise is super important to me. I love running around in the house or yard with my doggy pals and going on walks. I'm quite the active guy, and playtime is my favorite time! I get along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats. I think cats are fascinating, though sometimes they give me a little smack when I get too curious, and then I just walk away. I'm also a people-lover, but due to my energy and playful nature, I’d do best in a home with kids over 12. Some of my favorite things include toys, fetch, tug of war, bones, car rides, and cuddles. I'm a smart cookie too—I already know "sit" and "paw." My foster mom says I'm friendly, outgoing, confident, happy, playful, and loyal. I’m looking for a home with a fenced yard because I love running and playing outside, and I prefer not to do my business on a leash or tie-out. My ideal home would have a doggy playmate. I adore my new canine foster brother, who is a 30-pound puppy. I play gently with him, whether it's tug of war or chasing him around the yard. I’m also super affectionate. I love greeting my foster family with licks and cuddles, and I no longer jump on people or furniture. I do need plenty of exercise and stimulation, or I might chew on things I shouldn't. But with the right amount of play and love, I promise to be your sweetest and most loyal companion. Are you ready to be my forever family? With love and licks, Niko His minimum adoption fee is $95 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. Story
Meet Arnold, the 4 year-old, 64 pound, energetic and loving Pit bull pup who's ready to find his forever home! Arnold is a charming and lively dog who appears to be potty trained, always keeping his run clean. While he's not a fan of the crate and can be quite vocal (making him better suited for homes without shared walls), he absolutely thrives when he's with his people. Whether it's hanging out in the house, going for walks, or playing with toys, Arnold loves activities that keep his mind and body active. This sweet boy has been wonderful with every adult he's met, showing off his friendly, outgoing, and confident personality. However, due to his high energy levels and need for some obedience training (like learning to keep his paws on the ground), we believe Arnold will do best in an adult-only home. His enthusiasm and strength might unintentionally knock over smaller children, so a home without kids is ideal. Arnold enjoys a good chew on a bone and loves nothing more than cuddling up in his person's lap. He's already learned the "sit" command and is eager to learn more with the right guidance. Because of his reactivity towards other dogs and his strength on a leash, Arnold needs to be the only pet in the home. But don't worry – he has so much love to give, you won't need another animal! Given his energy and need for a secure environment, we're requiring a fenced yard for Arnold. This will give him the space he needs to run and play safely. Described as friendly, happy, playful, and loyal, Arnold is ready to shower his forever family with love and companionship. If you're looking for a devoted and active companion, Arnold might just be the perfect match for you. Come meet him today and see for yourself why he's such a special boy. His minimum adoption fee is $95 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Meet Mimi, a delightful 12-year-old Pit Bull Terrier weighing 63.8 pounds. This sweet and fun-loving lady is full of personality and loves nothing more than following you around. She knows how to sit, shake, and lay down, and she's always eager to impress. Mimi adores toys and bones, and she enjoys exploring the yard, sniffing around, and showing off her spunky energy. Despite her age, she’s still young at heart and would thrive with daily walks to keep her active. While she keeps her kennel clean, she does have the occasional pee accident, but she's working on it. Mimi should be the only dog in the home due to her protectiveness over her space and items. Although she got along with her foster’s dog initially, she's shown that sharing her space and resources can be stressful for her. Mimi hasn’t been around children, but with her gentle nature, she may do well with older, respectful kids. Do you have space in your heart and home for Mimi? Her minimum adoption fee is $95, plus a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents if she’s 4 months or older. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Meet Charlie, a 2-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who tips the scales at a sturdy 60 pounds of pure love! This handsome boy is the total package—brains, charm, and a goofy streak that'll keep you smiling. Charlie is a quick learner and already knows how to sit, shake (with both paws!), and lay down. With his trainable nature, he’s ready to impress you with even more tricks. When he’s not showing off his smarts, Charlie is the ultimate couch companion, happy to lounge and soak up all the love you can give. He adores toys and bones but plays gently—no destruction here! Charlie thrives on attention and affection, and his playful personality really shines when he gets the zoomies. He’s a pro at the classic bow-and-run routine, and while a fenced yard isn’t a must, it would be his dream come true for endless frolics and fun. Charlie is reportedly good with other dogs, though he hasn’t had any pup playdates while in our care. Ready to make him your loyal sidekick? His adoption fee is $200, plus a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents if he's 4 months or older. Don't wait—Charlie is ready to fill your home with laughter, love, and a little bit of zoom! He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
