Story
Sweet, energetic, Jupiter is ready for adoption. She is a special needs girl who will need continued medical care. When she came to the rescue she had virtually no hair due to Demodex Mange, Heart worm positive, and a severe eye infection caused by Entropion (which is when the eyelids roll inward and the eye lashes are constantly rubbing the eye). She has been treated for mange, been spayed, and has had multiple surgeries to fix her eyes. We do not know if her hair will ever fully come back. She is receiving treatment for heart worms. She will need to continued treatment with eye medication due to now having dry eye. We have also discovered that she suffers from allergies. This will require continued allergy injections, RX food, and regular vet visits for skin issues. We know its a lot, but we simply can't give up on her. She does well with some dogs,, but would love to be spoiled and live her life as an only pet. She does great with the 3yr old in her foster home.

Story
Penny here, I'm petite pitty female that landed a sweet foster home after having my pups at AC. My pups have grown up to not need me anymore so I have a little anxiety. I love people a bit more than I probably should which has caused me to have some separation anxiety when my people leave. I do well in a sturdy travel kennel or a sturdy wire kennel when I'm left at home to keep me safe. When I was younger I probably didn't get to practice much manners with others. I have played well eventually with a couple of male dogs. I may need to be only dog since not many others understand my harsh playing and lack of boundaries. I do however love little kids and have been around a little one as young as one with supervision. I'm intense lover and would really enjoy a home to call my own. Please consider setting up a meeting with me!

Story
Tater is located in Tennessee Tater is the true definition of a little meatball. He is estimated to be 3yrs, 45lbs and an absolute sweetheart to his people. Tater has been living with his current owner, in a home with 2 other dogs his size, and his human sibling who is 1 year old. Due to his current environment, he has become overstimulated. But we are confident that with the proper guidance and daily routine, he will be a great addition to the right home. He is crate trained and potty trained and does well on a leash. He can be extremely excitable, so he would do best in a home that can provide him with daily enrichment and exercise to help him exert his energy. Due to his excitable nature, a home without children and other dogs is ideal. He has shown to be dog selective, so he would do well with a fur sibling that meshes well with him and is introduced slowly. He enjoys interactive toys, tug of war, and couch snuggles with his humans. He prefers to keep his toys to himself, so carrying treats in your pocket during play time is useful, as he is very food motivated. Taters favorite treats are bully sticks, peanut butter in his Kong, and cheese puffs. Tater is a great shot gun rider and enjoys car rides. Story
Location: Nashville, TN but can be adopted out of state for the perfect fit. Longtime resident, Gunner, is still looking for his forever family, and knows they are out there but needs your help finding them! Gunner has been in rescue for over 3 years. He needs his own family to love and them to devote their time in spoiling him. He loves to snuggle and be around his human. He is a strong boy and needs a confident adopter. He is unaltered at this time due to past health issues. He was diagnosed with a severe case of heartworms and was listed on the euthanasia list back in May 2020. He has since had treatment and is now heartworm negative. Unfortunately, the impact to his lungs and heart are irreversible but you would never know based on his activity level. He lives and plays like any other dog. Gunner is: 🔷️UTD on vaccinations 🔷️ On monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. 🔷️ Heartworm Negative 🔷️ Requires a fenced in yard. 🔷️ May be accepting of a female companion his size, with the right introduction of course 🚩 Not neutered due to his heart 🚩 No small dogs, male dogs, or cats. 🚩 No small children, he is a bull in a china shop and doesn't realize when he steps on your feet. 🔷️ Enjoys peanut butter, coconut oil, eggs, and bananas. 🔷️ Likes car rides, walks (strong but takes corrections well), knows sit, kennel and bedtime. 🔷️ Has no issues with being kenneled, as he goes there more often than not when given the choice. Gunner is deserving of his own family. It has become imperative that Gunner find his own home due to some changes with his foster mom. He is currently in a rotation at his foster mom's house as she does have male dogs and small dogs. This isn't fair to Gunner, and he needs a home with his own person. Story
Located in Memphis, Tennessee but we do adopt out of state for the right fit. From Bonnie's foster mom: Bonnie is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever fostered. Everyone that has met her has fallen in love with her. She is a cuddle bug and a velcro dog. All she wants to do is be with her human. She enjoys dog chews, toys, and treats but her favorite thing in the world is attention from her human. She loves men, women, and kids. She is always happy, gentle, and appropriately behaved with whomever she meets. She walks well on a leash and really enjoys walking in the park. Bonnie loves car rides. She gets in the car well on her own, but is a little afraid when jumping out, probably due to her vision impairment. She is calm in the car and always falls asleep. She has done great with other dogs she has met in my home and at the shelter. However, she needs a patient dog because due to the lack of vision in her right eye, she tends to bump into other dogs when walking or playing. She seems to really enjoy following my dog around the yard and just doing whatever he is doing. Bonnie is a medium energy dog. She is very playful with other dogs and is also very vocal in her play. She doesn't always pick up on social cues from other dogs, but she does take corrections well. All in all, Bonnie is a wonderful, intelligent, social dog. She has so much love to give and is so deserving of a forever family that will return that love. If you can give the perfect home to Bonnie, please complete the application at the following link: https://www.battleforthebully.org/adoption

Story
Severlly handicapped! birth defect. Front legs are both compromised. He can hobble across the floor to go out to potty, he can play in the grass and with some toys as well. He is sweet. Very. but still young and wiggles, and wiggles and wiggles. He has a wheelchair but the flooring has to be just right for it or he will flip forward. We are hoping for prosthetics and have at least at this point made one contact on 3 D printing him some. He walks like a kangaroo a bit and ties to jump up and give ou attention but has no legs to hold himself onto you. He needs the PERFECT place, is your place that place?
