Story
Hey there, I'm Miller!  I am 2.5 years old weighing in around 60 lbs.  I'm a pretty special guy, you see.  I used to be a superhero, believe it or not.  My superpower?  Spreading joy and laughter, of course!  One day, I was chasing an evil villain, when I found myself in this place they call a shelter.  I've been making the best of it, using my superpowers to cheer up everyone around me.  But I'm ready for a new adventure.  I'm looking for a sidekick who loves fun and games as much as I do.  So, how about it?  Ready to form the ultimate superhero team? ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 11, 2024, 12:11 pm

Story
Jack is a 5-year-old Pitbull who had a rough start to life and is adjusting well to life as a tripod. Despite his past he is an absolute love bug and holds no grudges! He was fostered in the South after his amputation for about 6 months with a family with 3 other dogs, 4 cats and children. They loved him so much they even made a little book with his story, photos and details about his relationships with cats, people, dogs and his progress. Jack LOVES people and other animals and was well known in their neighborhood as he liked to greet everyone he met. He is very emotionally intelligent and can tell when people are sad and will bring them toys to try to cheer them up. He also is smart, eager to please, and is savvy in reading other animal cues and respecting their boundaries. He is currently fostered with an 8-year-old chihuahua mix and is very gentle with her and knows she is the boss. Some of Jack's favorite things include TOYS, especially squeaky toys. He is great at occupying himself with toys or chewing bones if his human companions can't provide him attention. He loves snuggling and couch time. He likes ice cubes, a scoop of peanut butter before bed, rolling in the grass on a sunny day and getting brushed. Jack has so much to offer his future family and will provide endless laughs, snuggles and joy. One look into his soulful eyes and it will melt your heart! Adoption fee is $450 If you do not hear from us within 7 days please email passion4petsrescue@gmail.com

Story
I'm Randall! When I came to the shelter I was in bad shape, I was bald and skinny but the girls took great care of me and now I'm healthy as can be! I am a bit afraid of new situations and need some encouragement but in my past when I went to new places people weren't very nice and shoed me away, so I'm trying to learn not everyone is going to do that. I am great with other dogs and cats because after all in my experience they were never mean to me! The girls here at the shelter are doing a great job at showing me I can trust people and I am learning everyday!

Hey! My name is Everleigh! I love going on runs in the field, playing with my group mate Randall, and I'll always take all the attention I can get from the staff here! I prefer a cat free home I like to chase them but not to hurt them I just think its fun to make them run.

Story
Chance is a 5-year-old social butterfly who loves to snuggle! He truly loves everyone and wants to be with his people as much as possible. Chance loves to go for rides in the car and is a little hesitant around water until he feels comfortable then loves to swim. Chance knows his commands but could use some refreshers on manners, he gets excited and jumps and pulls on his leash. Because of this we are looking for a home with older children only, he may knock over smaller kids. He will chase cats for fun and loves to play with other dogs- under supervision. He tends to be too much for some dogs. if you're looking for someone to keep you warm through the winter and on adventures all year round, this is your guy! Chance has shown us that he really (like REALLY) loves his people and cannot be without them. He would benefit from crate training or better yet, he goes wherever you go! Chance has previously become destructive when left free in a home alone. We think he gets really upset and afraid that he has been left behind. We have not seen this behavior in his kennel, which makes us believe he would do well in a crate, small increments at a time until he can settle in and recognize this space as his own.

Story
Loyal ~8 y/o Gypsy was returned to us due to a housing dispute. This sweet lady is extremely loving with her people, but takes some time with new friends. An experienced home is a must, and she will require multiple meet and greets before adoption. Gypsy loves belly rubs, going for walks, and being with her people. She has quite the aversion to men, so a woman only home would be best. Gypsy is nervous with animal friends, but may adjust to a friendly dog or cat given some time. An adult only home is preferred.

Story
We have a special boy to introduce to the families and couples out there wanting a truly special older pup that is totally trained and waiting to love you to pieces. True Blue Toby is a 10 month old Boxer mix puppy that was found as a stray and not in the best shape.  In fact he looked terrible and we felt so bad for this boy to have suffered for so many months.  Once he came to our care we got to work on clearing up hair loss and getting him healthy from those pesky intestinal worms and putting good weight on him.  Gosh Toby is the best boy with a wonderful personality that embraces everyone with love and the anticipation to become steadfast friends.  Shy at first, this boy has blossomed and is Mr. Outgoing in every way.  He just wants to hang out with his humans and love them with full gratitude for making him such a healthy boy.  Housebroken, crate trained and wonderful with other dogs and cats, he is the truly total package if you are looking for a medium sized dog.  He is going to be a 50 pound adult and what a handsome Boxer mix boy he is turning in to.   Email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue :   ccrnewengland@gmail.com   We know will be glad you considered this boy as your very own. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 11, 2024, 12:11 pm

Story
Sweet Rosie girl was found as a stray. The woman who found her tried desperately to find her owner but to no avail. We believe she was dumped, as it is very common here in the south. The woman brought her here to the rescue and she is doing extremely well with all the dogs and puppies and even like the cats and the children who visit. We believe she is approximately 5 months. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and she is also crate trained. She is full of energy and would do very well with a house full of kids! She appears to be a Boxer/Hound mix of some sort, pretty much a Super Mutt! Wouldn't you love to add her to your family? She will be ready for transport by the middle of May PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $650
