Story
Chance is a 5-year-old social butterfly who loves to snuggle! He truly loves everyone and wants to be with his people as much as possible. Chance loves to go for rides in the car and is a little hesitant around water until he feels comfortable then loves to swim. Chance knows his commands but could use some refreshers on manners, he gets excited and jumps and pulls on his leash. Because of this we are looking for a home with older children only, he may knock over smaller kids. He will chase cats for fun and loves to play with other dogs- under supervision. He tends to be too much for some dogs. if you're looking for someone to keep you warm through the winter and on adventures all year round, this is your guy!

Story
Loyal ~8 y/o Gypsy was returned to us due to a housing dispute. This sweet lady is extremely loving with her people, but takes some time with new friends. An experienced home is a must, and she will require multiple meet and greets before adoption. Gypsy loves belly rubs, going for walks, and being with her people. She has quite the aversion to men, so a woman only home would be best. Gypsy is nervous with animal friends, but may adjust to a friendly dog or cat given some time. An adult only home is preferred.

Story
My mother in law adopted her in November 2023. We are helping to rehome Rosie because my mother in law has recently been forced out of her home due to an accident that left the home unlivable. My wife and I have been taking care of Rosie for the last month and a half and have just learned that my mother in law won't be able to find a place to live that will allow Rosie to be returned to her care. Since having Rosie with us, we have worked on house training and socializing her. She sleeps well through the night and will only occasionally wake up early for a bathroom break. She is good on the leash, and will rarely pull. She does need further off leash training. She has gotten along with our two dogs (a lab and golden retriever) and cat. She is not food or toy aggressive. She loves cuddling under a blanket. Rosie needs someone who spends enough time at home to continue training with her and giving her the attention and love she deserves.

Story
Hello, I'm Briggs!  I'm 8 months old and weigh 45 pounds of rugged good looks, Blue Pit is what they say and I walk easily with a slight limp from an old injury that has healed.  One day back in the middle of October, while chasing my tail - a very serious business, mind you - I took a wrong turn and ended up at this small rural Tennessee shelter.  You see, I thought I was participating in the Dog Olympics and I was sure I was winning the gold in Tail Chasing.  Instead, I won a small kennel run and regular meals at this shelter.  I'm ready to bust outta here for a new adventure!  I'm a bundle of joy, always ready to play and make you laugh with my goofy antics.  I'm young, sweet and have energy to spare.  Adopt me and let's turn life into a fun-filled escapade!  I'm good with other dogs and can be cat tested if needed.  I'm just pretty much a good all-round guy!  Please consider adopting or maybe fostering me!  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you want have me as your Best New Friend. Story
I'm Randall! When I came to the shelter I was in bad shape, I was bald and skinny but the girls took great care of me and now I'm healthy as can be! I am a bit afraid of new situations and need some encouragement but in my past when I went to new places people weren't very nice and shoed me away, so I'm trying to learn not everyone is going to do that. I am great with other dogs and cats because after all in my experience they were never mean to me! The girls here at the shelter are doing a great job at showing me I can trust people and I am learning everyday!
