Story
Hey there… I’m Turbo.   I’m a 3-year-old, 47-pound Pitbull mix with a handsome black-and-white coat and a smile that seems to win people over pretty quickly. I ended up in the shelter because my dad felt I was spending too much time alone in my crate, and he wanted something better for me—a home where I’d get more love, time, and attention. I’m hoping that person might be you.   I used to be housebroken and crate trained, and while shelter life has changed my routine a bit, I’m a smart guy and should pick things back up in no time with a little consistency.   What really matters most about me? I love people. I’m friendly, affectionate, and I get along great with other dogs and kids. I’m the kind of dog who just wants to be part of the family—whether that’s playtime in the yard or relaxing by your side.   Summer is right around the corner, and I can’t help but dream about spending it with my very own forever family. Maybe that could be with you?   Let’s meet—I’d love to show you what a great companion I am.Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 9, 2026, 11:55 am

Story
Rico is a loving and loyal dog who would do well in a home with other dogs or as the only dog. His background prior to us adopting him 18 months ago is unclear and we believe he is between 3-5 years old currently. He is protective of his family and house and has a hard time with visitors. He has undergone extensive behavioral training for reactivity. He’s improved significantly, but sadly we don’t envision being able to have children visit the house safely without close attention. We have a newborn which provoked the very tough decision to find him a new home. Generally, he is low energy and does well lounging around the house for most of the day but also loves walks particularly on the beach. He loves cuddling with the family at night and is well trained on the leash. He loves the female dog walkers who come most days, but takes a little longer to warm up to men. He is great with other dogs in all situations. It is very important to us that he finds a loving home.

Story
Dixie is a 8 yr old Pitty. She was a well-loved girl until her owner went to assisted living. Dixie walks wonderfully on a leash; she is completely housebroken and fine left uncrated. Dixie is wonderful with dogs and cats alike. This beautiful girl is looking for her retirement home. Adoption fee is $475 If you do not hear from us within 7 days please email passion4petsrescue@gmail.com

Story
CoCo was my ex father in-laws dog. He passed away suddenly. Please comment on, past experiences with dog(s) if any, preference to former or current Pitty owners and housing situation.Things we know about CoCo.-She did well at the dog park with several other dogs. When overwhelmed she did go under the picnic table.-She did well with a 5/6 year old little girl, letting her pet and love on her.-Very well behaved when being left in the car to run inside for a bit.-Barks to alert but doesn't really bark at all.- Does well on leash. Wants to say hi to other dogs and can PULL. She's very strong. She doesn't pull when people, bikes, cars pass by.-Not food or snack driven.-Is a picky eater but getting better. She's had a lot going on.-We have all her records, she's 70/75 lbs and doing better with exercise.-Limited recall but she's willing to learn.*We believe she will do best as a single or as second dog. She's not very assertive and wouldn't thrive competing for attention.
