She is well behaved and have never had any issues with people, children or any other pets. She is allergic to chicken so she would need a family that can keep her from eating chicken.

This sweet senior gal was in the care of her senior owner until almost a year ago when he could no longer take care of her - following almost 1 year in boarding with zero adoption applications, Sox is ready for the comfort and love she’s always deserved. She’s happiest at home with you supervising you making sure you prepare her a good meal and get your chores done, and then just chilling by your side. She’s OK on leash and prefers stroller rides where she can feel the wind on her face and smell all the smells. Sox would thrive in a calm, low-traffic home, she does great with 2 small dogs including a senior at one of our volunteers’ houses where she goes for overnights. Sox deserves to spend her golden years wrapped in the warmth of family, not shelter walls. She’s sweet, resilient and so deserving of a happily ever after. Chief has always been more than just a pet. He's been our constant companion and family member. We raised him to enjoy the world with us, and for a long time, that's exactly what he did. However, after relocating to Las Vegas nearly three years ago, things changed. The extreme weather and our demanding lifestyle have made it increasingly difficult to give Chief the time, stimulation, and attention he needs to thrive. Despite our best efforts, we've seen an extreme impact on his physical and mental well-being. He is honestly the smartest and greatest dog (see resume photo). Chief is still in his prime, and he has so much joy, love, and adventure left to give. He deserves a home where he can receive the level of attention, stimulation, and companionship that makes him shine. We love him deeply but we had to admit that we are no longer good for him. He truly is a once-in-a-lifetime dog, and we are committed to finding him the absolute best next chapter, even if it's without us.
