This is a courtesy post. Please do not contact Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue for information. Contact information is provided in the description below.Due to circumstances I am looking to get one adopted. approx 9yr old pit mix. Extremely loving, wants to always be by your side. Loves car rides and people in general. Being a former shelter dog he has separation anxiety, and does best with with constant companioship! Doesn't need to be fenced, he is a yard dog! Never leaves the property. Looking for a couple, family where he has lots of attention. Retired couple would be his best match. Very sweet loving big boy! But most likely do best as an only dog. Sending pics, and thank you for any help you can give!If you are interested you can contact Timothy Vassey at adomdom29577@gmail.com.

Story
Hi! My name is Mama. I've been at the shelter for almost 2-1/2 years now. I was a pregnant, homeless stray before coming to Heart of the Foothills. I also had heart worms and underwent treatment. Can you believe I've been here this long and very few people have asked to meet me? I know I'm far from perfect, but I'm not a bad dog. Thankfully, all my cute little puppies were adopted into wonderful homes. Although, I have to admit I'm a little sad that no one wants me. I know I'm not as cute as a puppy. My body carries evidence of the many litters I've had over the years. But I still deserve a chance and with the right person, I would make the best companion. I'm not getting any younger, and I would like to experience what a real home feels like. My ideal home would be with adult humans only. Other dogs, cats, and small children are just too stressful for an old girl like me. I just want to cuddle on the couch with you and get belly rubs! My buddy Dezyl and his mom are sponsoring my adoption fee. A home just like Dezyl's would be perfect! Maybe that home will be with you! A girl can dream, right? If you are interested in adopting this animal please fill out an application at heartofthefoothills.org/adopt. You can email us at adopt@heartofthefoothills.org
