Story
Meet Luna! Luna came to us with her lifelong buddy, Chui, after being found wandering alone. Her finder was able to locate their home, only to learn that both dogs had been living mostly outdoors in unsanitary conditions. Their former owners agreed to surrender them, and that’s how these two sweet seniors made their way to us.   Luna is an absolute sweetheart who wins over everyone she meets with her soulful stare and wiggly little body. She’s quickly embraced indoor living—spending her days snoozing on the couch, soaking up cuddles from staff and volunteers, and showing off her naturally wonderful temperament. She walks beautifully on leash, is potty trained, crate comfortable, and does great with dogs of all sizes. Luna recently had a full senior workup and received a clean bill of health—it’s hard to believe this girl is considered a senior at all!   Luna is bonded to her little buddy Chui, whom she’s been with since they were young. Chui, especially, finds a great deal of comfort in having his pal nearby. We’re looking for a home where they can stay together and finally enjoy the safe, loving life they’ve always deserved.   Be sure to keep an eye on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you’d like to be considered as their forever family, please submit an adoption application on our website.   Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, microchip + registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention, and age-appropriate vaccines.   Luna would do great in a home with… Cats : Dogs : Yep! Kiddos : Yep!     ##2533875##

Story
Introducing Chloe, the spirited 7-year-old rescue terrier with a heart as big as her 70-pound frame. This lovable canine companion is a cherished member of her foster family. With a zest for life, Chloe's favorite pastime is embracing the great outdoors, where she can be found either playfully frolicking in the grass, basking in the sun, or on her favorite spot - the cozy couch. Chloe is a well-mannered, house-trained beauty, adored for her affinity for both adventure and relaxation. She's a pro at the art of lounging but equally enthusiastic about exploring new places, especially if it involves a thrilling car ride. Her kennel-trained demeanor showcases her discipline and intelligence, making her a delight to be around. One of Chloe's most endearing qualities is her love for company, especially when it comes to puppies - she joyfully engages in playtime, demonstrating her gentle nature. This sweet girl has a special fondness for other dogs, particularly those who are more submissive. A meet-and-greet with potential furry friends is recommended, as Chloe's gentle nature truly shines in the company of like-minded companions. Nothing brings out her contentment more than belly rubs and the warmth of a caring hand. Chloe's boundless affection and playful spirit make her not just a pet but a cherished family member, reminding everyone lucky enough to know her that rescue dogs like her have an extraordinary capacity for love and happiness. She is fully vetted, heartworm negative & on preventatives, spayed, & microchipped. She is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX.

Celeste was found on 12/9/25 at Green Acres Rd & N Delta Rd. She came into the shelter not yet spayed. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Hello, I`m Enid! I`m about 1 years old and weigh roughly 50 pounds.Do you like...Dogs? I spent some time with my finder`s dog and we did okay however I did not like sharing my stuff and would need management if living with another dog. I need to meet any dog before going home with them.Cats? It is unknown how I would do around cats. With a slow, proper introduction I might do okay.Kids? I`m a friendly dog who might do well with young kids. I would like to meet any kiddos I might be going home with.Anything else you`d like us to know, Enid? I was found running loose at Skinners Butte for several weeks. It is expected that I might have some desire to run off and should be watched carefully in my new home until I`m comfortably settled in and not seeking to get out.I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter.
