Introducing Chloe, the spirited 7-year-old rescue terrier with a heart as big as her 70-pound frame. This lovable canine companion is a cherished member of her foster family. With a zest for life, Chloe's favorite pastime is embracing the great outdoors, where she can be found either playfully frolicking in the grass, basking in the sun, or on her favorite spot - the cozy couch. Chloe is a well-mannered, house-trained beauty, adored for her affinity for both adventure and relaxation. She's a pro at the art of lounging but equally enthusiastic about exploring new places, especially if it involves a thrilling car ride. Story
This is Elvin Leroux, he's ~2 years old and about 55lbs. I helped liberate him from a small, city-run shelter in NorCal where he had been for about a year. I've had him for 5-6 weeks now and he's just wonderful. I would totally keep him if I could! Elvin is very sweet, very affectionate and a total goofball. He's well behaved, house-trained, and has started some professional obedience and loose-leash training. He's a fast learner. Outside he LOVES to run, so you must have a large yard for him. Elvin loves people and other dogs! He wants all the attention he can get so he would make a great family dog. He'd also make a great emotional support animal due to this sweet, affectionate nature. Indoors he can be a bit of a couch potato and just wants to chill and cuddle up but can go a little bonkers when he's excited. When you're sleeping he likes to curl up right by beside you, often with his head laying on you. Elvin is fixed, has current rabies vax, and is micro-chipped. Questions? Ask!

Story
What Jake LOVES: Car rides...if he goes outside, he runs to the car. Its so cute. He loves squirrels and they love to torture him. He loves to snuggle with his humans and he gets the CUTEST zoomies every night. Jake is a special boy. One of his ears stays up, and one stays down. He is around 60 pounds and 2 years old. He was originally found on the streets of Los Angeles. He has a lot of energy and is a very sweet boy with us (his current owners). However, Jake needs a quieter house than ours, he would be better suited as an only dog OR with a spayed female of similar size. Jake is a very protective dog of his owners so he doesnt do well with a house that has people coming in and out a lot. This is why we are rehoming him. It stresses him out and he is reactive to a busy home. It would be great to have someone who can work with him and that has a yard that he can run around in. We imagine Jake on some land running around or happy with an introvert that doesn’t have people over much.

Story
Meet Luna! Luna came to us along with her buddy Chui after being found wandering around alone. Her finder was able to locate her home only to discover that her and Chui were living mostly outdoors in unsanitary conditions. Luna and Chui's owners agreed to surrender them and that is how they made their way to us! Luna is an absolute sweetheart and wins over everyone she meets with her soulful stare and wiggly little body. Luna has quickly realized how good it is to live indoors and loves to spend her days snoozing on her couch and getting cuddles from our staff and volunteers. Luna walks well on leash, does great with dogs of all sizes, is potty trained, is comfortable in a crate and just about as perfect as they come! This girl has a naturally wonderful temperament. Luna recently had a full senior work up and received a clean bill of health. Its hard to believe this girl is a senior. Luna could join a family alone or possibly with Chui, we are still getting to know them and their relationship with each other. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Luna's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our webs Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines. Luna would do great in a home with...Cats : Dogs : Yep!  Kiddos : Yep!     ##2533875##

Story
Hello, I`m Wall-e! I`m about 1.5 year old and weigh 36 pounds.** I still need to be neutered so when my forever family decides to adopt me I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I came into the shelter with a canine friend. I don`t have the best social skills and can come on pretty strong. Bring any dogs from your home to meet me and see if we`d be a good match.Cats? My history is a mystery. I do have a lot of energy and could potentially be to much for a kitty. Slow, supervised introductions would set me up for success.Kids? Due to my jumping and puppy like qualities, I`d like to start out meeting kids a little bit older so I don`t accidentally knock them over. (10+)Anything else you`d like us to know, Wall-e? I am a very energetic young man who still needs lots of training and socialization to set me up for success as I continue to grow. I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Meet Petunia, the 3 year old Bull Terrier/Cane Corso mix whose infectious happiness lights up every room. This spirited canine is looking for her forever home and is overjoyed to be surrounded by her loving foster family. Petunia's perpetual joy is most evident when she sees her family, her tail wagging with boundless enthusiasm. One remarkable aspect of Petunia's story is her remarkable compatibility with other dogs. She effortlessly forges friendships with fellow canines, creating a harmonious atmosphere wherever she goes. Not just limited to her furry companions, Petunia is a natural around children of all ages, displaying a gentle and playful demeanor that makes her an ideal family pet. Despite a challenging start in life, Petunia's indomitable spirit shines through. Discovered in a field as a stray, she bore the scars of past hardships - two dislocated hips and a shattered left back ankle. Remarkably, these injuries had already healed, and Petunia now navigates her world with grace. Although surgery is deemed too risky, her resilience allows her to walk and even run, proving that love and care can overcome adversity. Beyond her physical strength, Petunia is a model of good behavior. House trained and affectionate, she revels in pets, cuddles, and the pure bliss of tummy rubs. Petunia's journey from a field to a loving home is a testament to her resilience, and she serves as an inspiration to all who cross her path. She is house trained, microchipped, fully vaccinated, & spayed. She is being fostered in Seguin, TX and is ready for her new home. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
