Story
Introducing Chloe, the spirited 7-year-old rescue terrier with a heart as big as her 70-pound frame. This lovable canine companion is a cherished member of her foster family. With a zest for life, Chloe's favorite pastime is embracing the great outdoors, where she can be found either playfully frolicking in the grass, basking in the sun, or on her favorite spot - the cozy couch. Chloe is a well-mannered, house-trained beauty, adored for her affinity for both adventure and relaxation. She's a pro at the art of lounging but equally enthusiastic about exploring new places, especially if it involves a thrilling car ride. Her kennel-trained demeanor showcases her discipline and intelligence, making her a delight to be around. One of Chloe's most endearing qualities is her love for company, especially when it comes to puppies - she joyfully engages in playtime, demonstrating her gentle nature. This sweet girl has a special fondness for other dogs, particularly those who are more submissive. A meet-and-greet with potential furry friends is recommended, as Chloe's gentle nature truly shines in the company of like-minded companions. Nothing brings out her contentment more than belly rubs and the warmth of a caring hand. Chloe's boundless affection and playful spirit make her not just a pet but a cherished family member, reminding everyone lucky enough to know her that rescue dogs like her have an extraordinary capacity for love and happiness. She is fully vetted, heartworm negative & on preventatives, spayed, & microchipped. She is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX.

Story
This is Elvin Leroux, he's ~2 years old and about 55lbs. I helped liberate him from a small, city-run shelter in NorCal where he had been for about a year. I've had him for 5-6 weeks now and he's just wonderful. I would totally keep him if I could! Elvin is very sweet, very affectionate and a total goofball. He's well behaved, house-trained, and has started some professional obedience and loose-leash training. He's a fast learner. Outside he LOVES to run, so you must have a large yard for him. Elvin loves people and other dogs! He wants all the attention he can get so he would make a great family dog. He'd also make a great emotional support animal due to this sweet, affectionate nature. Indoors he can be a bit of a couch potato and just wants to chill and cuddle up but can go a little bonkers when he's excited. When you're sleeping he likes to curl up right by beside you, often with his head laying on you. Elvin is fixed, has current rabies vax, and is micro-chipped. Questions? Ask!

Story
Luna (age 3) was a stray from Baja, Mexico that I adopted when she was 12 weeks old. She is an amazing adventure buddy by day and snuggle pup at night! High energy, fast runner, loves to play tug of war and fetch, will jump up and dance with you to music, loves to hike and play with other dogs, especially puppies. She gets cold easily and loves pillows, fuzzy blankets and heating pads/heated car seats. very smart and can be taught many games and tricks. Luna loves children of all ages and sleeps well in her crate, but prefers to sleep with her family in between your legs or under your arm where its most warm. crate and potty trained, minimal pulling on leash, knows several commands: sit, stay, wait, drop, leave it, look, place, come here, off. Rehome reason: shes anxious and will bark/growl around people she doesnt know or if shes startled or approached too quickly, which makes her not the right vibe as my acupuncture clinic therapy dog. No history of aggression.

Story
Meet Birdie! Birdie is a young senior sweetheart at 10 years old who’s ready to trade rescue life for a cozy couch and a forever family. Found as a stray and waiting in an overcrowded shelter, this lovely gal never let it dull her sparkle. Birdie is a happy, social girl who truly enjoys making friends—both human and canine—and greets the world with a warm, gentle enthusiasm. When she’s not charming everyone she meets, Birdie proudly reigns as the queen of cozy. Blankets are her specialty, and she’ll happily burrow herself deep for the kind of epic naps only a seasoned snuggle expert can achieve. Birdie has had a full senior wellness workup and will soon be getting a much-needed dental cleaning along with a small mast cell tumor removed so she’s on track to feel her very best. She could be a wonderful addition to a family with respectful kids, other dogs, and possibly even a cat. If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing companion who balances social butterfly energy with expert-level snuggling, Birdie might just be your perfect match. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Birdie's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website! Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines. Birdie would do great in a home with...Cats : Dogs : Yep!  Kiddos : Yep!   ##2610204##

Story
Meet Petunia, the 3 year old Bull Terrier/Cane Corso mix whose infectious happiness lights up every room. This spirited canine is looking for her forever home and is overjoyed to be surrounded by her loving foster family. Petunia's perpetual joy is most evident when she sees her family, her tail wagging with boundless enthusiasm. One remarkable aspect of Petunia's story is her remarkable compatibility with other dogs. She effortlessly forges friendships with fellow canines, creating a harmonious atmosphere wherever she goes. Not just limited to her furry companions, Petunia is a natural around children of all ages, displaying a gentle and playful demeanor that makes her an ideal family pet. Despite a challenging start in life, Petunia's indomitable spirit shines through. Discovered in a field as a stray, she bore the scars of past hardships - two dislocated hips and a shattered left back ankle. Remarkably, these injuries had already healed, and Petunia now navigates her world with grace. Although surgery is deemed too risky, her resilience allows her to walk and even run, proving that love and care can overcome adversity. Beyond her physical strength, Petunia is a model of good behavior. House trained and affectionate, she revels in pets, cuddles, and the pure bliss of tummy rubs. Petunia's journey from a field to a loving home is a testament to her resilience, and she serves as an inspiration to all who cross her path. She is house trained, microchipped, fully vaccinated, & spayed. She is being fostered in Seguin, TX and is ready for her new home. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
