With time, care, and lots of love, she’s made an incredible recovery and now she’s ready for her next chapter. She can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she is the sweetest girl. When you`re in with Duchess, you`re in for life. She adores her people and has a soft spot for tennis balls - they’re her absolute favorite!Duchess is looking for a calm, low-traffic home where she can be the only pet. She’s open to meeting dog-savvy teens.If you`re interested in meeting Duchess, she is located at the Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center on Bloom Rd. We are open daily from 12:00-6:00pm and no appointment is needed. Please bring everyone who lives in your home and any current dogs with proof of up to date vaccinations. Scrappy is a loyal, intelligent 10-year-old dog who has been with me since he was only two months old. He has a protective spirit and a big bark, but he has never harmed anyone or another pet. He is fully house-trained, knows many tricks, and still shows the confident personality that made him such an incredible companion all these years. He is gentle, alert, and loves being close to his person. Rehoming him is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever faced. I developed severe allergies and asthma this past year, and even with treatment, my health has been affected. Scrappy deserves a loving, steady home where he can enjoy his senior years with someone who will appreciate his loyalty, his intelligence, and his sweet, protective nature. He has been the best dog anyone could ask for, and I want him to have a home that will love him as much as I always have.
