Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ryker is a handsome, friendly, silly pitbull mix.  He came to us through no fault of his own--his owner was no longer able to care for him. Full of puppy energy, Ryker needs an active owner or family who will channel his energy and keep him mentally stimulated.  A fence is not required, but would be preferred as he really needs a place to run.  He walks nicely on a leash.  Wiggly and happy, Ryker just loves attention and is good with other dogs and kids.  His energy may be a lot for little children, but older kids who will play ball and take him for walks would be awesome. Ryker will be neutered and updated with vaccines before adoption; he is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.  We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.  Thank you!September 26, 2023, 9:37 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING FOR A PUPPY.  BREED:  WE do not know DNA on these pups.  We were told they are Pitbull/Mastiff Mix.SIZE:   We can NOT predict the size of these dogs.  Please don’t apply if size is a factor in your decision.  Our goal is to never have to re-home our dogs—especially because they didn’t grow to expectations.THEY POOP AND PEE A LOT:  Be prepared.  Typically, a puppy can control their bladder one hour for every month of age. So if your puppy is 2 months old, they can hold it for about two hours. Don't go longer than this between bathroom breaks or they're likely to have an accident.THEY WILL SHED; DO YOU HAVE A GOOD SWEEPER? IF you work away from home—you will need a patient care giver for your new addition during your absence.PUPS absolutely need training, exercise, and a lifetime commitment.  It is the responsibility of puppy adopters to continue and complete the puppy shot and maintenance protocols. Puppies will have had their first puppy shot and will have been on a deworming schedule. They will need to be dewormed as needed. Puppies will need at least two more boosters and a rabies vaccine in the coming weeks with boosters again yearly.  Your vet may recommend other vaccines in the future; such as lyme, influenza etc.  You MUST sign a contract agreeing to have your puppy spayed/neutered at an age recommended by your veterinarian.  You must provide Haven to Home with proof of SPAY/NEUTER at an agreed upon date in the future.  An H2H VOLUNTEER will follow up with this agreement.Pets are lifetime committments that can become expensive.  Please think about this and please apply if you want joy in your life as a reward for hard work. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet.
