They call me Exuberant, Handsome and Sweet but you can choose a new name for me when we adopt each other. I don’t care what you call me, as long as you call me. I’m a happy dog who loves people more than anything else in the world. I’m 5 years old mix, with a 22” collar and am very big and strong. The Vet said I weigh 73 pounds. Don’t let that scare you because I am just a mushy ball of love. I like to let everyone know how happy I am to see them by twirling around and wagging my tail as fast as it will go. This is usually when they call me Exuberant. I like to have fun. I’m such a good boy and I have good potty manners. I prefer being inside with people at night especially. Since I have a lot of energy and need exercise, your large fenced yard will be well-used. My foster peeps say I need a family, not a job. They know that I’m a quick learner and will be someone’s best dog ever. Because I’m big and young at heart, my new humans should have some experience with dogs and be able to work with someone of my stature. I promise I will try to do everything you ask enthusiastically. I don’t like loud booming noises (fireworks or dynamite) or gunfire but neither do most of my friends. Health wise, I am terrific; up to date on shots and tested negative for heartworms. Foster peeps say it means I will get my forever home very soon! Maybe it’s yours! FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. My adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225. Meet Duke! This handsome and dignified gentleman has a lot of love to give to the right person. Duke is a smart and playful dog who loves to explore and check out what's going on around him. He's affectionate and loves to cuddle up on the couch with his favorite people. Duke is 100% blind in his left eye and 50% blind in the other. This does not stop him though, he just takes his time to walk around new areas so he knows where he can walk and know his boundaries. He will show you a silly, fun, and goofy side of him that will definitely make you laugh. He can be dog tested and cat tested upon request. If you're looking for a brave and funny companion who will stick by your side through thick and thin, look no further than Duke! While Duke's past may be a mystery, his future is not! He loves car rides, UTD, microchipped, neutered. We are unsure if he is house trained, however, he is a fast learner, so this should be easy to do with a routine. Duke has a doggy door that he has access to at woofwoof fosters, so he goes out as he needs too. ( he has not peed or pooped in the quarantine building. Meet Diesel! Diesel is an amazing boy who is good with kids, other dogs, and can be cat tested! He is around 3.5 years old and weighs around ~60 lbs. He has always lived outside but we believe he could be trained to live indoors with some patience and a routine. Two of our fellow non-profit contacts found him hobbling along without any use of his back legs while they were out driving in Sweetwater, TN. They pulled over and upon speaking with his owners, found out that he was hit by a car over 2 weeks prior. Unfortunately, his family could not afford to take him to the vet to examine his injuries or figure out how to best support his mobility needs and they agreed to surrender him to our rescue! He saw the vet on May 14th and we learned that his back was broken in two places. We were originally told that he was likely paralyzed and will likely not re-gain function of his two back legs. The vet also discovered that Diesel was Heartworm positive. Since then, he underwent the fast-kill method to kill the Heartworms and has completed his treatment after 30 days of rest! He also went to see a specialist at UT who donated a special harness to Diesel’s foster family. After some at home therapy using this harness, Diesels is able to stand and even walk short distances unassisted! One of our amazing followers also donated the funds to get Diesel a custom wheelchair! This wheelchair will follow him to his forever home! Diesel is nothing short of a miracle and we are so excited to finally find a loving home for him.
