Story
Ducktail (Russian Blue look-alike) and Lawnmower (red-streaked tabby) are two gorgeous, sweet sisters who are less than a year old. They were found as newborn kittens last July in a Long Beach hospital parking lot. They are a little shy at first, but their curious natures allow them to warm-up quickly. They love to play and get all the head scratches. They get along well with other animals, but are also content to keep each other company. They are spayed, up to date on vaccines and are house trained. We'd really love these two to be taken in to a forever home where they are safe, cared-for and doted on because they are practically purr-fect and deserve the very best!

Story
For many years AALOC has been blessed with an amazing relationship with one of the best Mexican restaurants and event venues in Orange County: The Hacienda in Santa Ana. When one of their employees passed away, we were able to assist by taking into our care the person’s long-loved kitty named Sugar. There couldn’t be a better name for this little cat. She is as sweet as they come. She likes attention, loves to play and is curious about everything. You can tell Sugar had an owner from an early age – she is quick to make friends with humans. Sugar was recently diagnosed with FeLV, feline leukemia. Although she is showing no symptoms and has no active infection, and may never will, she can never be around her other cat friends again due to the virus being transmitted. Thankfully FeLV is a cat only virus, and humans, dogs, other animals are safe around Sugar. We’d love a foster home that can take this unbelievably wonderful cat into their home! Please submit an application to adopt Sugar on our website at www.aaloc.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Sugar and get to know her a bit. Donation of $100 for cat adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on adoption policies visit our cat adoption page at www.aaloc.org. Contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.

Georgie is a sweet cat. She gets along with our two older cats, but not our younger 1 yr old cat. The younger cat stresses her out. She is an indoor outdoor cat. Georgie is very good at catching mice and rats outside. She is on a natural probiotic which she does not mind taking orally with syringe. She loves to snuggle with adults. She would be great as an only cat or with older cats; great at keeping the rodent population down!

Story
We love this cat… She’s sweet and gets along with our three-year-old and dog… she’s potty trained and really loves being around people… The issue we’re having is that our other cat who is seven years oldabsolutely despises this cat… and she just wants to be near the older cat which doesn’t help the situation because the other cat just wants her to go away… so we are quite torn.. she is still very young (6 months?). Anyways, that’s what’s going on and why we’re putting her up for adoption… it’s sad really… She plays with our son all the time and the only time she scratches is on accident when I let her climb on my back.

I adopted Mika when he was just a kitten off of craigslist. He is very affectionate and loves to cuddle at night. He is very shy at first, but once he starts to see you more, he we will open up. He loves the attention and craves all the pets and snuggles. He is about 8 years old now and still has the energy of a kitten. Mika wants to be an outdoorsy cat but I have always kept him inside and on occasion he will attempt to run out to explore.

Story
Diana is a beautiful, silky soft kitten that although not 100% socialized, is easily approached & petted when eating, is docile when picked-up & held, ready to cuddle up & purr when napping with her human family =^..^= Not a "special needs" kitty, she does require a bit of patient TLC to finish her humanization, we have no doubt that when mature she'll be a totally "domesticated" furbaby... Calm, self-assured, 100% healthy & house-trained, Diana's a happy-go-lucky little girl that loves playing with her toys. This is a very special girl that makes everyone smile who meets her & is ready to bond with her furrever family that's ready to bond with her ♥

Story
Bunny is super friendly and sweet. She gets along great with everyone, people, felines and canines. Bunny is being adopted through the San Gabriel Valley Animal Advocates. If you are interested in adopting Bunny, please submit an adoption application at http://www.sgvaa.org and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Your adoption donation allows us to rescue the next kitty from the streets and pay for all their health and medical needs. Most of our adoptable pets live in loving foster homes. We can arrange meet-and-greets with our foster families, at our live-in habitats in the West Covina and El Monte Petcos, as well as at the Huntington Beach (Edinger) PetSmart. SGVAA is an all-volunteer, non-profit rescue organization serving the San Gabriel Valley area. For more information on how you can help your community, please visit: www.sgvaa.org Their Adoption Process If you are interested in any of our adoptable pets or have additional questions, please fill out an adoption application and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Since we are an all-volunteer organization, it may take us within 24-48 hours to respond. Our little fur babies are so adorable that sometimes we get multiple applications for one pet! So if the pet you are interested in is no longer available there is no need to worry! We have plenty of friends who are furry! As part of the adoption process, we screen each new potential owner, and do home visits to ensure that an animal and owner are a good match. Once your adoption application has been approved, we will have you fill out a Pet Promise Certificate (adoption contract) *SGVAA’s adoption donation allows us to rescue the next kitty from the streets and pay for all of their health and welfare needs (spay, neuter, shots, deworming, flea meds, microchip) *We also provide free home delivery of your new kitty/kitties! About This Rescue SGVAA is dedicated to the protection and humane treatment of pets in the San Gabriel Valley area. We encourage people to rescue a homeless animal instead of buying one. Our organization also educates the community on the importance of early vaccinations for fatal and easily preventable diseases. We also advocate spaying or neutering to reduce pet overpopulation. Once an animal is in our care we vaccinate all rescues against disease & provide needed health care, fight pet overpopulation by spaying or neutering all rescues, and provide lifetime shelter and care to any rescued animal that is not adopted. Come Meet Their Pets Most of our adoptable pets live in loving foster homes. For interested adopters, we can arrange meet-and-greets with our foster families, at our live-in habitats in the West Covina and El Monte Petcos, as well as at the Huntington Beach (Edinger) Petsmart. We also post pictures of our adorable kitties at sgvaa.org, our Facebook page and on Instagram!
